Pathetic service from a shop that obviously has no idea about products or customer service. Was sold a faulty product and refused to exchange. Lousy unprofessional service, would be very embarrassed to be working for such a store. Do yourself a favour look for shaving electronics ELSEWHERE.
Terrible experience. Walked in to an empty store with no other customers and 3 sales persons with hands on their heaps. No one bothered to welcome us, offer to assist or ask what we are after. Minutes later, another customer of different hair colour to us walked in and all 3 three sales persons decided to be helpful and jumped right in to help the customer. I can't believe that racism still exists in 2020.
Ordered click and collect - store opening hours 11-4. I go on my lunch break 1.30pm to find the store closed with a sign saying back in 15 mins. Poor form. When the girl comes back 13 mins and 45 seconds later, she didn’t even apologise for keeping me waiting. Seriously you are open for 5 hours a day did you really need to close ? And her standard of dress was appalling and not very professional at all. Wish I had my item delivered.
A big shout out to the staff at Doncaster. I received great advice from C & J in two separate calls to the shop. So helpful and much appreciated. I ordered online as I am at high risk if CoVid gets me and to my amazement I received the Braun Series 9 the next day. So impressed was I with Shaver Shop, that I bought a Braun Series 7 for a friend on Sunday. Great experience and thank you C & J for being there to help me. The shaver's great too!
Do you know the shops with awesome costumer service who actually are trying to solve an issue and responsible... Well this shop and apparently all the shaver shops are the exact opposite. Got a trimmer that didn't trim my ears hair, went back the very next day and even though the seller tried it himself and saw it doesn't work, he refused to change that, had to call out for the manager who after 10 minutes argue offered me a gift card instead of refund.
Very argumentative staff, they were quite adamant that their series 9000 Philips shaver blades last for 18+ months. I tried to explain that’s definitely not the case, you’ve gotta replace the blades for $89 every 6 months if you want a proper close shave. They go blunt too quickly and after 12 months they’re unusable. After reading the reviews on the website Product Review for the Philips 9000, I wasn’t surprised to see dozens of other men complaining about the same issue, even some mentioning that the blades on their 9000 went blunt after only 2-3 months. Doncaster Shave Shop ain’t listening.
I purchased a Waterpik from Shaver Shop online store this Jan., the pause button on the handle blocked after about 10 month. I've called Shaver Shop and the call centre told me that I can go to any of their shop to arrange an replacement. So, I went to their Doncaster shop. As soon as I explained the problem, their stuff told me the handle is not covered by warranty, and trying to charge me $30 for a new handle. I thought it's a little bit too expensive since the machine itself is only $100 something. And that doesn't make sense if the handle is not covered under the warranty since with out the handle you'll not able to use the machine. So, I write an e-mail to waterpik and explained my problem. However, at that time, I find out that there isn't anywhere saying that the handle is not covered under warranty, either in Waterpik website or Shaver shop website. More over, after I checked Australia consumer law, I'm quit sure it's illegal to set that functional part out of warranty. So, I went back to that shop again and explained my understanding of the policy. The stuff seems not very happy but they give me a new handle. And they ask me: IS THIS THE SECOND TIME THAT YOU COME HERE TO GET A NEW HANDEL? I really don't understand why she ask me that question. I double confirmed again with the lady, her question is not about my earlier visit that day. I think that question is really mean something else. Was she trying to say I went there just trying to get a free handle again?!. I'm really not happy with that question. By the way, I get an reply e-mail from waterpik today. They confirmed that the handle is UNDER THE WARRANTY. ofcause I replied whit thanks and explained that I've already got the new part. I really don't know what to say. I believe it will be the late time I buy anything from Shaver shop.
Ashleigh was very helpful and knew the different products/brands on display. Made it easy for me to decide on which one will suit me best.
Dont shop here. Its franchise store and lady owner dosent understand australian consumer law or SS own refunds pollicy. Bought a braun face and body trimmer. Face stubble trimmer was sub par. Body groomer for chest was rubbish with all attachments getting blocked and just generally poor trimming. Tried one more time with last attachment and drew blood so decided to return it. Lady on phone was defensive and accused me of using it wrong without even knowing what product i bought and me shaving for 15 years with there other products. Went to store and she was acting like i was robing her by asking for refund, even gave her 3 examples and how it dident work. Had to lift t-shirt in store to show how uneven it trims and all she did was laugh and refuse, even refered her to shaver shops returns pollicy and she just refused to read it. This shop wont accept returns so be carefull before buying. Called HQ on phone and seems this store is a problem. Edit- Shaver Shop Rep from HQ looked after me with gift voucher as even he understands that was wrong behaviour from her, HQ refered me to Northland store for my refund which they did with no fuss what so ever. Shop at Shaver Shop Northland if you want great service and a shop that follows there own policy and Australian cousumer laws
Stood out the front of the shop for about 4 minutes looking at kids toothbrushes then walked inside to look at the range. Stayed for another few minutes thinking one of the three staff might come over to see if we need a hand.... no, they were too busy talking to themselves and checking stock. Not hard to greet a customer when there are 2 staff working in a 4x5 metre shop.
