I had just experienced the most horrendous customer service yesterday when I was purchasing my first item from Anaconda Lidcombe. A female employee with brunette hair with black prescription glasses rolled her eyes directly at me after asking me if I remember my Anaconda membership number (who keeps a membership number on the top of their head?!). She then continued to gossip about another employee behind her whilst serving me at the counter. If this is what you call good customer service you should reevaluate your life.

The staff here have always gone above and beyond to help me. I was urgently looking for a tent and had a specific one in mind. When I called up they checked their floor, store room and somehow managed to get one delivered to their store for us to pick up the next day. They called me back twice to confirm everything - They made the whole purchasing process seamless and easy for me!

I called your store this morning enquiringly about a specific kind of shoe (including colour and sizes) and was assured there were plenty in stock, and to come to the front of the store upon arrival. Made the trip (which is out of my way, this is why I called so it wouldn’t be a waste of bloody time) just to find out they don’t have any in my size/the colour of the shoe I wanted. This is TERRIBLE customer service. Absolutely fuming and disappointed, and will not be returning to Anaconda AT ALL.

Xmas eav eav looking for womens boots for a gift around 7:30pm. Staff more interested in telling each other their life stories rather then rendering assistance to the customers on the floor. There is a clear line of sight to the shoe section from the front desk (where the 3 female staff members were located) and none of them made the effort to assist. Was there for 15min waiting and then when I asked for assistance, one walked over, pointed to a pair of boots and then walked back to the front desk to continue the conversation I rudely interrupted. There would have been at least 10 customers on the floor walking aimlessly around the store. I did not make a purchase.
