Alto Hotel on Bourke

Great customer service. Beds were the most comfortable ever! No wonder they also sell them! Cosy lounge area to read and have coffee. Easy walking distance from Southern Cross Station and good location for markets . I would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely here again!

Nice, quiet boutique hotel in a good location. My room is quiet and nicely appointed. Good amenities including in room microwave. Hot and cold running Foxtel. Great soundproofing. I can barely hear the other guests or the city. Buffet breakfast is simple but nicely done. Staff are really friendly and cheerful. The Devore in the main areas is really charming and kitsch.

Always reliable. Good basic rooms & excellent environmental credentials. They don't think you'll steal the coathangers so thet don't make you use those frustrating tethered things, & provide an umbrella without you having to ask. Staff always friendly & competent. If you're lucky enough to get the front room with more heritage windows than you can refrain from poking a stick at, it's a treat! Otherwise the modern rooms & studios are fine.

Good quality Hotel rooms are a good size and insulated well so noise is not an issue 24 /7 reception with pleasant staff Great location close to tram stop

I stayed for a week in Aug and it was just wonderful! Friendly staff, great decoration. Moreover hotel was equipped with free coffee machine, free Sweet Pastel nearby, various tea bags, and a bowl of apples! In the bathroom you find 4 type of container: shampoo, hair conditioner, soap, body lotion! The room was very convenient, with microwave and boiler. Cooked breakfast was superb (19 $ per day). I also enjoyed free relaxation room with massaging chairs. Skybus, and free tram zone nearby.
