Vicki and the team went above and beyond to make sure my holiday started and finished problem free.  A friend and myself spent 6 days skiing the south island and I could not have done it without the AWD Subaru.  When our transport from Wanaka to Queenstown fell through, Vicki didn't waste any time coming up with a solution which ensured we didn't miss our flight.  I won't be looking elsewhere next season.  I know exactly who to call!

Booked a car in July and later found that I was charged more than double what I was quoted so be very careful if coming from overseas as soon as you leave the country they make sure to charge your card after you leave. Front desk lady was also extremely rude when both picking up the car and when I asked why I was charged more then quoted I would not recommend for anyone to use this company! Disappointed to say the least.

These people are fantastic. Struggled to find any transportation from Queenstown to Wanaka, and kind lady arranged a ride for me. Great service, will look them up again. Very affordable as well.

Nice service! Vicky was really helpful. Our car was broken, so she organised the rental for the weekend on late Saturday. We appreciated all the help. Best customer service, and easy process to do everything. 100% recommend

Owner Vicki is very professional & gives personalized service. It's my first time driving on the left-side of the road; Vicki was very compassionate & encouraging; gave me a quick hands-on driving lesson on how to quickly adjust to driving on left-side. Vicki even waived the fee for the extra miles I used. The car is very clean & in great condition. I do have high standards & Adventure Car Rental surpassed them all. I will not rent from anybody else whenever I am in Wanaka, NZ. Highly recommended. I will give 11 stars if I'm able :

The best rental company around, so forget the big names in this game, Adventure Rentals headed by Barbara and Graham, provide a friendly, professional and efficient service where nothing is too much trouble, to cater for any travellers needs They have an extensive both small and large, range of vehicles, to suit any kind of travelling requirements you may possibly need, including vehicles for those gravel/shingle type "roads" up to the likes of Mt Aspiring National park Nothing is too much trouble for Barbara and Graham, who know all the best places to visit locally and pretty much throughout the whole of the South Island. A great company, great cars and great value for money I will definitely use their company again - Thanks guys

I’ve never had such a good experience with a car rental before. Friendly staff, car is in okay condition for the price. The booking system was not clear that a credit card is required for the bronze insurance option. This meant if you have a debit card you have to use the gold insurance option which is $20 per day.
