Laura went above and beyond to give us the best experience we could have imagined with the Audi R8. We were impressed by both the level of professionalism, but also the friendly and helpful service - she made it so easy! We'll definitely use Ignition again next time we're in Queenstown. You couldn't ask for a better customer experience!

This is the 2nd time we have hired a car off Ignition. This time we hired two different vehicles, one for us and the other for a mate. Fantastic, well maintained vehicles both times. Laura is an absolute dream to liaise with. I can fully recommend their service and vehicles

My wife and I have visited Queenstown before but this time I wanted to make it a bit special. I was stuck for ideas until a mate recommended Ignition.  A couple of emails later, Laura and her team had hooked us up with her incredible Lamborghini Gallardo, which was delivered to our place in Arrowtown—freshly vacuumed and cleaned—a few days later.  I hadn’t ever driven a Gallardo before so Laura gave me a quick induction, then handed me the keys and told me she’d be back the next morning. This surprised me – I thought I’d just have it until that evening. Knowing it was mine until the following day meant we could do a dinner run too!  After Laura departed I could not describe the feeling I had. You can imagine what it’s like when someone’s just handed you the keys to their luxury supercar for a day. It was second to none!  Anyway, after I had taken each of our daughters for a short ride around the village, my wife and I set off for a day of motoring, sightseeing and cafes – and it was amazing!  The Lambo was a dream to drive, and I found myself with compete freedom to cruise quietly along enjoying the view, or to give it a bit of stick and open up the throttle – and WHAT A NOISE when I did that! It was like having a symphony orchestra in the back, absolute magic! The sound it makes under throttle is something I’ll never forget, and once is never enough – it’s addictive!  The car doesn’t just sound great, it looks soooooo good. EVERYWHERE we went people mainly tourists stopped and looked, and took photos. It is such a striking vehicle – a real head-turned. People hear it before they see it and there is no better way to make an entrance! I could tell my wife was absolutely loving quietly being the focus of envious glances and wide-eyed admiration, and to be honest I wasn’t minding it either! You can’t help but feel like a king driving this thing!  Our day involved an amazing trip to Milford Sound and back a traditional motoring day out, with plenty of stops for coffee and photos, followed by dinner in Queenstown and then an evening run over the Crown Range to Wanaka and Cromwell. It was a lot of driving but we were loving it – hood down and sun on our faces during the day, and hood still down but heater and heated seats on through the chill air over the Crown Range in the evening!  The whole region has such magnificent driver’s roads. Overtaking is not a problem when you have an energetic Italian-engineered 5.0L V10 engine in the back, and we left many a campervan in our wake!  Every now and then, when we did get stuck for a while with no safe place to pass, we just cruised happily along. Leisurely cruising was made easier by the fully automatic gearbox and the super comfy seating position. And there was always plenty to look at – waterfalls, towering cliffs, and all the scenic beauty Fiordland is famous for.  The whole experience left us with a new appreciation of the beauty of Fiordland and Central Otago – and first-hand experience of what life’s like for the super wealthy!  It was awesome being king for a day. I’m writing this review the morning after, having just handed the keys back to Laura. All I can think about is when I will be able to come back and do it again!

We rented the Audi R8 for a weekend in Queenstown earlier this year and had an incredible time. Highly recommend Laura & the team at Ignition,  they were flexible with the rental time, offered the best pricing of any of the luxury car options in Qtown and they even picked us up from the airport. I'll take another run in the R8 over the bungy anytime! Looking forward to getting back down to try the Lambo or the Aston Martin soon.

This was such an amazing day! So happy to tick this off my bucket list! Laura and her team are so lovely and will go out of their way to help you make it happen! I'm for sure going to be back and tick off another one from the list! Thanks guys!

An experience of a lifetime!! What it must feel like to be a billionaire.  I wanted to treat my fiancée to something special after recently getting engaged. This delivered in style.  Laura from Ignition was excellent and showed me their Ultimate Adventure package.  We drove the magnificent road down to Glenorchy in the Lamborghini even the sound of that beauty couldn't drown out the excitement from both seats,  Took a helicopter ride to Milford sound - wow.  Then it was a crayfish lunch on the Fiordland Jewel as dolphins jumped around the bow of the boat. You couldn't make it up.  On the way home we landed on a glacier - as you do.  I could sing the praises of these guys for as long as you'd listen. Excellent communication Laura even helped me keep it a secret, well prepared and exciting car and a thoroughly amazing experience all round.  You'll have an awesome time - do it!

Very happy I went with Ignition! No other way I’d rather explore New Zealand than with these beautiful cars. I rented the Porsche Carrera 4S, the R8 and the Aston for a couple days each. Laura was absolutely lovely to deal with and gave us the full luxury experience. The entire process was easy and seamless. Well done guys you provide a fantastic service.  Such a cool experience getting off the plane and having a supercar waiting for us at our hotel. It turned an amazing trip into an experience of a lifetime. Nothing like the surreal feeling of having the top down on the V8 vantage and cruising through the breath taking mountain range. Absolute dream come true for a car lover like myself. I will highly recommend Ignition to all my friends and I will definitely be back to beautiful Queenstown! A very well deserved 5 stars!!

Hired the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster. Had an absolute blast driving on some of the worlds best driving roads. The views and drive heading out of Queenstown to Lake Pukaki was simply stunning. Laura was amazing, dropping the car off at our hotel and arranging to pick it up as well. The car was immaculately presented and was just stunning to drive. Cannot recommend enough... if you've ever wanted to drive a supercar, this is the company and the place to do it!
