Terrible customer service and unsafe cars
1 year ago i hired from the same place and had a great new Rav4 and excellent service.
Now in 2017 the Rav4 i had felt like i was driving a boat - the doors didnt close properly, the suspension was all over the place and the breaks were very dodgy . This nearly caused a few accidents. On top of this it guzzled 3 tanks of petrol to get to Paihia and back to Auckland
On return i was $20 short on a full tank because my toddler was very upset and wanted to get out of the car and not fill up again for the 4th time. I got told   ' well if you didnt call about the problems you cant complain now and charged $50 to fill up the rest of the tank' and not greeted, thanked for helped.  On arrival with a tired toddler i was told she was too busy to help.  TERRIBLE PLACE WONT BE USING AGAIN

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm a New Zealander and I've hired a lot of car through out New Zealand on various trips.  I thought I'd give 'about car rentals' a go near Auckland Airport. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

How can I start, worse customer service I have ever experienced. I tried to book a car for the weekend and I was told that the city ( Auckland) was busy, therefore I could only hire for a minimum period of 1 week. That of course I could book the week and return the car earlier, but they charge was pre-paid and couldn't be refunded ( really? wtf?). The phone operator also tried to convince me that they were the bigger fleet of Auckland and I wouldn't find cars anywhere else if I didn't go ahead with the booking. Turns out ALL of the other rental car companies I phoned gave me quotes and I was able to book a car for the weekend. Do yourself a favour and stay away from those scammers.
