DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!n- old run down building water damaged walls there was a piece of wood patching a hole in the roof of our “superior room”n- drunk people yelling in the corridor and banging on the door at 3am - 4am followed by a shindig in there rooms that keep us all night after 2 phone calls to reception they were moved at 4.30 amn- bond 150 per room they have 3.1% surcharge, they told us need to put on credit card on file for the bond and surcharge fees would be refunded however when the bond was returned I was still charged a surcharge so I had to phone them up to get the surcharge fees back
When me and my partner got there the rooms looked years old and the carpet wear n tear looked like it has gathered a lot of dust over the years. We understand the workers are trying make a honest dollar.I personally think it needs a big makeover every room needs a kitchen not using the bathroom tap. FYI we paid the full amount but only stayed there for 10min we asked for a refund but was declined.So due to dust on carpet and the old smell which was strong in the building we had to look for somewhere else. And lost $$
Wish I had read the reviews before I booked.nExtra cost to park car, although if you have a ute you will be told to park at the wilson car park and pay more. We squeezed in anyway.nThe back entrance is filty, floors have not seen a mop in years.nThis place needs a serious renovation. In the room the carpet was thread bare and looked extremely dusty, the curtains had holes in them and stains. Bad patch up jobs on the walls.nMyself and my partner had to have cold showers as it would not heat up! That was very unpleasant and really annoyed me.nOnly things that were good was the soaps supplied and the bed was big and comfortable, although the sheets had a brown stain.nThe location is good to local restaurants except at night all the boy racers and party goers walk the street and with single glazed windows it is hard to sleep and constantly being woken up. Although I understand this is out of the hotels control. I'd be weary if you have children.
Again should have read the reviews before booking this hotel, was very creepy vibes rooms smelt like smoke and musty, staff were accommodating but we left next day and were oy refunded for 1 night street noise is absolutely loud didn't get quiet until 4am in the morning, windows don't shut properly in the rooms toilet water raises up 2 cm from the seat. Uncomfortable beds lift needs some help. So if you want haunted hotel this is the place for you!
My own fault not reading reviews, parking was a problem, got a park but was barely able to open car door, room provided not made up , no provision to charge dinner back to room, told can do this with breakfast and lunch but not sure where base is, the base mall opens at 9am which is no good to me.nRooms noisey and old.nHorrible vibe.nNever want to stay in a hotel for rest of my life.nAircon was good.nSorry you got to do better
