This hotel certainly deserves attention, although it does not reach the perfection of five stars. Its location is very convenient – the proximity to the main attractions and transport hubs makes it an excellent choice for travelers. The rooms are clean and spacious enough, although the decor could have been more modern. The service leaves much to be desired. The staff is polite, but not always prompt. The breakfasts are good, the choice is varied, but it can be crowded during rush hours.

Wow, this place is enormous. And quite a surprise, a lesson on not judging a book by its cover, as really on first inspection it seemed a bit dated and kitsch but it is incredibly well run and comfortable. Worked brilliantly for a small seminar that I was delivering and had a very comfortable room. Also staff were friendly and accommodating and everything just worked well. Thanks for having me.

Superior rooms very clean and tidy carpet underfoot lush, loads of parking. Wider complex dated. Beds were unbelievably comfortable, service was as you would expect for a hotel of its level. Convenient location for those intending to travel to Auckland the following day.

Pretty bad for the price you pay. Had no hot water in my room with terrible shower pressure, mold in the bathroom and hair on the bed. Told the receptionist upon checkout and they didn’t seem to care.

The housekeeping services need a wake-up. Hair in the bathroom that definitely did not come from us. Dishes not washed properly and surfaces not cleaned.
