Novotel Hamilton Tainui

This is probably the best hotel I've stayed at during my 2 holidays in New Zealand. It's very clean, the staff is truly AMAZING, and they have a beautiful bar and great food in the restaurant.nThe team has been so accommodating and I cannot remember in all of my global travels where everyone working in the hotel has been so kind and helpful. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Very enjoyable, stay. The staff is very super friendly and courteous. Our room was good sized and very cozy.nWelcome drink is always refreshing.nThe check in and check out process was seamless. They offer valet parking but also help in finding free parking if there is one available.nWould love to stay again.

Had a nice stay. Hotel is very centrally located. Friendly staff but people working in reception when I checked in could have been more knowledgeable about the town and shown more initiative. They had some difficulty providing directions to the famous Hamilton gardens. Breakfast was good. Probably the best hotel in Hamilton.

The best hotel we stayed at during our 6 day NZ trip. The hotel is clean and the included breakfast was delicious with an amazing selection of food. We had a difficult time turning our room’s AC on and when we called the reception desk, someone was at our door within mintues. Turns out we hadn’t pushed the on button quite as hard as needed. Note that they are serious about the 15-minute parking limit on the parking spots at the front of the hotel; there was a person walking around giving tickets to those who went over their 15 minutes.

Room was tidy and lovely to stay in. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. No toys for children to play with in play area. Spa was missing as was chess pieces so activities for children were limited. Would be amazing if there was a swimming pool. Staff were lovely and great hosts. Did have difficulty understanding parking situation at beginning.
