Our beloved Willow was hit and killed by a car late on a Thursday night. We were absolutely distraught, as it was just myself and my sister home. We were going to cremate through our local vet, but couldn’t wait until the morning we did not want to keep her in our freezer. We called these vets and they were so helpful, told us to bring her in and they could hold her overnight even if we did not want to do cremation with them. When we took her, we both felt so supported and we knew Willow was in good hands and would be taken care of. We decided to do cremation with them, and free of charge got fur clippings, nose & paw prints on ink, clay paw prints, and a beautiful urn. Willow was returned to us on the Monday, which happened to be her 1st birthday. Our experience with these vets was overwhelming amazing and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We were absolutely broken losing Willow, but the support and care shown towards us made the process so much easier. Cant recommend enough, they will take care of your fur babies in life & death. Thank you!!!
I had to take my mischief to VSA on Sunday. Receptionist let me know why I was waiting to be seen. Vet was good looking after my mischief and explaining what was wrong and best course of treatment. She settled into my lap when we got home.
Sarah is very patient and kind with her treatment. I never feel rushed . She remembers Mac’s sisters name when we visit. Sarah is alway interested in what we’re doing and I feel very confident in her treatment and advice
We unexpectedly lost our beautiful girl and the emergency after hours team on 31/05 made an unbearable experience better with their kindness, empathy and care. We are forever grateful for the Friday night team. The 1 star is for the experience we had today when collecting our girls ashes. The day after we lost our girl we called in to request her bed and bedding be kept secure as we'd like to take it home. Upon collection they couldn't seem to find her belongings, to give the staff some space we stepped outside and to our HORROR 2 staff members were rummaging in the skip bin and out came our girls bed! This broke our heart! Such a degrading and disrespectful sight.
I would like to pass on my appreciation towards the vet and vet nurse Sylvia Park Hospital that handled my pet Oreo's care. A hard day for myself and kids and they made the day a little more manageable for us all. Their empathy, understanding and professionalism and care shown to Oreo and my family was outstanding and something I wont forget. I also want to thank the ladies that greeted me upon arrival, I was probably not the most understandable person at the time, they were friendly and prompt on taking Oreo to get the care she needed. Thank you all.
