Due to spinal injury we sent mum to The Waratah Retirement. On the 1st February after visiting mum we found out she in a very bad state care. Upon arrival I asked nurse what happened to mum nurse said she has blood pressure issues. She didn't bother to call ambulance we asked nurse to call ambulance. After ambulance arrival perimedics found her sugar level above 30 therefore mum was taken to hospital mum couldnt talk. Doctors at waitakere hospital advised her brain is damaged. Doctors shown us bruises from the resthome on her back including poor treatment on her back. I hope no other families go through what we have been through. Mum has rested in peace on the 6th of Feb. Attached are pictures.
