White Cross - Henderson 24/7

If only I could rate this place with no stars at all, I brought my wife into White Cross as she was in terrible pain because of her eye, which the receptionist were very unhelpful from when we first arrived by sending us away to Waitākere Hospital which had a 7 hour wait. After coming back to White Cross because we weren’t able to pay for their ridiculously expensive fees, my wife had to wait for almost three hours just to be seen by a doctor. She was sitting in such immense pain that eventually she lost her patience and made the decision for us to come home. I am deeply disappointed in tonight’s service, there was a lack of urgency, respect and support. I will not be returning back here, nor is my family and I will highly recommend that no one does.

Very impressed with White Cross Henderson. The service exceeded my expectations. Had my little boy triaged by the nurse, seen and diagnosed by a doctor, and prescription given by the pharmacy next door, and back home in bed all within about 3 hours. Incredible. And all free. And no appointment required. Very helpful, empathetic and knowledgeable healthcare providers. Very thankful to live in a place that offers this type of care.

I had a terrible experience at White Cross, all because of the rude and unprofessional African receptionist. From the moment I walked in, she was dismissive, spoke to me with an attitude, and made my kid feel like she was an inconvenience rather than a patient in need of care. Instead of offering help or even basic courtesy, she acted as if she didn’t want to be there. When someone is already feeling unwell, the last thing they need is to be treated poorly at a medical facility. White Cross seriously needs to train their staff and especially that African lady on proper customer service. Unacceptable and shows by previous people's review on this place.

“White Cross Henderson 24/7? A complete joke. I rushed my wife here because she couldn’t breathe—she was gasping for air, clearly in distress—and instead of helping her, they were obsessing over visas and passports like it was some border checkpoint. They made it painfully clear that paperwork takes priority over a dying patient. No compassion, no urgency, just cold bureaucracy. If your life depends on this place, good luck—you’ll be buried under their forms before they even lift a finger to help. Absolutely disgusting!”

I was in a very distressed way after having a very terrifying panic attack. The nurse I think I saw was called Casey was so understanding about my needs and she offered me water and calmed me down in a very professional manner. She was very helpful as I was in such a bad way. She kept me focused and told me what I was experiencing was very normal after going through something this scary. I really appreciate her so much in a time that I desperately needed support.
