We are forced to come here every now and then because it is close to where we live. The queue for seeing the doctor has always been longer than 2 hours.nnRecently, I came here because of repeating allergies. The receptionist told us there will be a 1 hour wait for the doctor. The place was quite clean and not too busy-maybe around 10 other people. The nurse saw us pretty quickly but we waited for more than 2 hours for the doctor.nnThe reason for this-we were told by the receptionist-was that there were more important emergency patients.nnI think they should send emergency patients straight to hospital. If this doesn't work the government should definitely fund White Cross Avondale because it is a much better White Cross though it did recently lose funding making it a but more pricey.nnWould 100% give 0 stars if I could.nnIf you made it this far-please just go to a different clinic. Coming here is not worth your time.
They put me out of my misery! The team who attended me were great! Seeing all the negative reviews and wondering whether I just got lucky, but I received a very high service levels from the nurse Mike and the doctor Naomi. They asked questions they needed to diagnose me, answered all my question, and were very friendly. Didn’t send me to the hospital because they could do a procedure in the practice which was amazing given the wait times in hospitals and I wouldn’t be a priority, so was looking at a night of waiting if these guys couldn’t help onsite. the star is lost due to the state of the facility, broken powerpoints, cleanliness. people who give 2 stars because of the receptionist? the one who attended me just did her job, gave me the form, took the payment and gave me the receipt on my way out which is what she was supposed to do, her attitude doesn't affect my rating, didn’t come there to make new friends.
To be honest, our experience with White Cross has always been a hit or miss. We’ve had some great encounters in the past with the receptionists, nurses, and doctors, but unfortunately, today was quite the opposite.nnThe doctor we saw !!!!ALAN TAYLOR!!! was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! From the moment he entered the room, he seemed rushed and uninterested. He didn’t take the time to properly sit down and listen, and we felt like he just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. We tried to explain the full picture and even brought a letter from our specialist, dated two months ago, because it was highly relevant to the current concern. But instead of reading it, he dismissed it with a sarcastic, “WHEN'S THE LETTER FROM? 2024?” WITHOUT even taking a proper look.nnOn top of that, the HYGIENE WAS QUESTIONABLE. After checking my husband's tounge, he left the one-time-use stick on the table instead of disposing of it properly. It was such a CARELESS and UNPROFESSIONAL move — especially in a medical setting where cleanliness should be a basic standard.nnWe left the clinic feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. We genuinely tried to share our concerns and explain the situation, but we were completely brushed off. It felt like we paid $105 for nothing — no care, no attention, no professionalism. We’re honestly left wondering how someone like that even ended up in a role that’s meant to help people.
To the White Cross ManagernnHere in writing for complain for your frontdesk on August 9 at mid of the night time. How did you deploy employee such with no people empathy and has argue on me very badly as I dont understand what she is wanting to clarify about the form given to me. At least she could have be more relax and decent tone but she had shouted at me, if something happen for me this week we will blame her. I was asking her to speak in good manner so i can understand but with security in her front calming her down she dont listen too.nnPlease try to deploy good manner front desk. This lady in Pacific is very racist and rude. I spoken to peopel outside waiting and got the same sentiments of this very rude lady. I hope you guys can initiate training for proper healthcare manner as this will enable peopel to go away and look for other facility. As ended me and my partner just left because she told us to go to hospital and be there for long hours insulting us while we only asks is clarity about the form she given us.nnPlease do something about this issue to train this lady proper act and manners.nnThank you a lot.
What a pleasant experience we had tonight. Reception staff were friendly. Waiting room was clean, had drinking water. Phone charger. Liza my doctor was very knowledgeable and helped me out. Admittedly we came at a quiet time. 7pm on a Tuesday. Worked for me.
