Local Doctors - Ranui

I've always had great experience with receptionists and nurses. They are so nice and they care about whatever my medical reasons are. Dr Yang Ma is the best doctor I've had, shes easy to talk to and someone that goes all out for her patients. Four months ago I went in for a checkup and she made an urgent referral to the hospital next minute I'm having a surgery that saved my life. Thank you Dr Yang Ma. God bless you

We've been to over ten local drs formally known as ETHC over the last 20 or so years, it's been years since I've been to one with such lovely Drs, nurses, receptionists. They have a culture of greeting and acknowledging each other as colleagues and the whānau who use the service. This is further away from my house but worth the drive.nnNgā mihinui ki a koutou

The receptionist is very rude..she has no clue about customer service. she really needs training as a receptionist. they don't accept walk-ins and even I booked an appointment two times,they have changed twice before a day by saying doctor is sick.we can understand and we have no control if someone is sick but she should be polite and try to understand patients perspective. and they should try to book with another doctor. I wait for 2 weeks for an appointment. and now I end up changing my GP.When I said I would change my GP, just because of your service, she didn't care and told me she couldn't do anything. Such a bad Experience.

Saw a lovely Dr Yang Ma yesterday. She helped me with three issues in my 15 mins with her. She was really caring, pleasant and friendly and emphatic. She is an awesome Dr who really wants to help you and is so very efficient. Great for us ladies too. Hoping she will stay here in our community. Thank you for such awesome care. My local for 14 years. The two receptionists are lovely too. Very caring and friendly.nnOnly problem is you cannot get an appointment for weeks in advance. They tell you they welcome walkins ,yet when you get there there are no appointments available anyway??Then they say they are appointment based, well there are none for weeks??Why did you guys disable the appointment booking function for the clinic on the ‘my health app?’Itwas a really good way of making an appointment without having to ring up, because you can’t get through ringing up either???? Then I’m told there only 1.5 doctors there that day anyway?

Bad experience I had gone with serious injury and was walking with the help of crutches. Went to see the doctor there he said it’s nothing and rude for using the crutches and said to go back to work and start playing and he was asking me to apply for ACC ? Luckily I changed my GP to Henderson medical centre and he prescribed for MRI and Ultrasound and found a ligament tear with his help I got a Physio and done 3 month of therapy.nReally bad experience won’t go back again and won’t recommend to anyone
