Awanui Labs - Ranui (formerly Labtests)

Just had my bloods done, quick and painless. Very professional, even though didn’t get a very warm greet, but I understand the stress it must have come with the job. Keep up with the good work!

Had a great experience!! I normally am really scared of needles but Efren really helped me out. He helped calm me down with breathing techniques and was extremely nice. On top of this, my veins are quite hard to find most the time but he was able to find one fairly quick compared to other labs I've been too. I haven't had the best experiences with getting my blood taken, but Efren did a really good job in both taking my blood and calming me down.

Have been going here since I found this one, a couple of years, usually less waiting than other places. Man who works here is very good. Was very understanding, kind and gentle with my 5 year old son when he had to have some blood taken too.

No wait times, staff were friendly. The male who did my bloods this morning was so nice and very understanding of phobia to seeing the needle or blood. I won’t bother waiting endlessly at Lincoln road or Westgate anymore, ranui is a much better option.

Unlike other.pocations the single guy does an amazing job but wait times are through the roof. Used to be fairly good always seen witin an hour. Last 6 months or so the wait times have gone to over 2-3 hours. Today 32 people waiting in front of me, one person said they have been waiting since 10:30. That is a 2.5 hour wait and says still many others in front of them. If lab tests had competition they would be out of business the service and wait times have got so ridiculous. When the queue goes out the door and down the road maybe things need to change like hire more people.....
