Awanui Labs - Te Atatu (formerly Labtests)

Awanui Labs is great overall. Only problem front of staff at the time. Taking 5 year old daughter in, no greeting at all, complete lack of enthusiasm and seemed annoyed my other children were attending with us…. Maybe caught her on a bad day. But then that’s when you should shut shop and have a break. Hopefully future clients are treated better.

Linzi was so nice! I hate blood tests but had to go in for one and a couple of other things, yay me so was quite nervous. Had a lovely experience though thanks to Linzi, would go back without fear in future! :

Chronically understaffed. Causing further issues.nnOne of the nurses left me when I was nauseated upright after unfortunately missing. When I felt better, they were gone for more than 5ish minutes doing another patient. Went to receptionist who was also gone and had been completely ignored. Nurse came back again to bring me back. Thought they had already drawn blood but unfortunately didn't so we had to do it again which was smooth.nnI didn't see a lot of glove changing for sterilization. I don't mind long waits but health and safety are highest priority for me.nnLovely people, but I think you guys are understaffed and it may be impacting work safety.nhappy to change review once I know things are up to speed, as for now I'm going elsewhere

Great staff. But seems like they have staff shortage. The nurse was really great but seems to be having a lot on her plate. There was only one staff today when I went and there were about 7 patients waiting.nWould be great if management could have atleast 2 nurses on a shift.nnApart from that its the best!!

Why is it so hot in here. Everyone is sweating including the staff. Please sort out before I am back.
