We did a one night stop at The Com Plex Motel staying in a top floor studio suite. The room was clean , very modern, and comfy. Lana at the Motel reception was very helpful and recommended us to dine at a local restaurant called Detour which we loved I would give this Motel a 10/10 fantastic location also. Thanks Lana for the excellent customer service.
Great price and for what it was it was fine. Just couple of things that may displease others but I was ok with. Road noise was noticeable. Shower was low flow. Could hear all your neighbours very clearly. Place was super clean and pleasant though.
The best place to stay in Whakatane! I was originally booked to stay somewhere near Landing Road but I moved to The Com Plex for it's location. I am so glad I did for my 5 night stay!nnThe rooms are very cool pods that aren't joined on to other's walls, so I never heard another guest. Huge king bed, kitchenette, table to do my work, great daily service, clean, and cosy heat pump.nnI was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort. I met the owners and their little dog on a few occasions and felt well taken care of here. The Comm Hotel is next door where I went for my daily meals and drinks which was great for convenience. I highly recommend that too.nnI was in town for business and i've recommended that we have all of our visitors to Whakatane stay here on their visits! I would happily return.
This has been by far the best accessible room of my trip. Not only that but it is fresh and clean with comfy beds. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The 'guard dog' is adorable!! Pocket sized bundle of fur. I will definitely be coming back!
lovely place to stay , you can hear the waterfall from the balcony , immaculate rooms . they have a little dog that greets customers . easy parking , close to town
