Absolutely blown away by the space for its price. Location is convenient. Has its own pool and the staff are friendly. Thanks for a very comfortable stay at your facility Pete. We will definitely be coming back to stay when we are back in Whakatane
The customer service was excellent. The cleaners were rude, and the turn down service was a bit slack, especially if you want your beds made or dishes done. They did offer more towels when the family went swimming. The rooms are not very soundproof, we didn't mind it was next to a cemetery but it would have been nice to know when booking. Insect problem was a no-go for me dont like big cockroaches having a shower with me. It was a little run down but cozy.
Nice comfortable motel. Only marked as three as room flooded and got up during night to water through kitchen and bathroom from a roof leak. Good value for price and staff very helpful
The rooms are very dated, showers need replacing, door handles coming off, bed was not great.
Large rooms with all the classic Kiwi motel facilities. Pretty old and ran down. Pool not heated.
