The pool wasn't as we remembered it very cold this time around. Rooms were nice and clean, we will have to look around whakatane for a heated pool
Old style motel, ground floor, parking infront of your door & on-site Manager. Easy to find & on a major road, a short driver from town centre .nnCheck in quick & was given some dinner recommendations.nnRoom basic but all we needed. Comfy bed, TV, tea/coffee. Also had an indoor pool that was quite popular.nnThe Friday night we were there was a bit noisy - couple of young families enjoying themselves, & a couple of people out drinking on the verandah.nnCertainly would stop tgere again
Alton Lodge is a welcoming, luxurious rooms and atmosphere, Alison and Steve are Absolutely lovely hosts and friends to me, brilliant stay each time we've stayed, Thank you
Owners are always lovely and service is great. Always a pleasure to stay here. Rooms are tidy and clean and beds are comfortable. Showers have great pressure too. One of my favourite places to stay for work trips.
Stayed one night for work. Quiet, good bed. Everything I needed!
