Overall, I had a good stay at the Pacific Coast Motel in Whangārei. The standout feature is definitely the owners. they’re incredibly welcoming and helpful. That personal touch made a big difference! As for the rooms, they’re good overall. comfortable and meet the basics. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere most of all.
Only 1 towel each, nice spa bath but had to use a wet towel for morning shower. Windows should have been closed around 4pm as when we entered the room was freezing. Nice and quiet area and bed super comfy
Amazing place to stay for our group of 4. The 2 bedroom was more than adequate and the price was so reasonable for what we got. One of the best rooms I've rented and I would know, I travel a lot.
Stayed one night after a day of work in Whakatane. Two rooms used 10 and 11 for two couples. What a lovely motel. A great welcome, helpful staff and very accommodating with out trailer.nThe room was fresh, exceptionally clean and well appointed. Two comfortable armchairs. Bed was very comfortable and linen crisp, we all enjoyed a good nights sleep. The spa baths were excellent.nI highly recommend this motel and we will be back, thank you.
Nice tidy rooms right in town. Room was restocked every day. Great value. The hotelier is super helpful and always cheerful. Couldn't fault the stay. Would happily return.
