Very friendly, welcoming and so helpful, nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are so clean and comfortable, 2nd stay here, loved it the first time. Came back again.

Best accommodation ever. Hosts were amazing!! The room was perfect, roomy and location was fantastic. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed a piping hot breakfast on my day in which was absolutely delicious. The room had everything so it made my trip home that much more relaxing and easy. The hosts service was exceptional, the motel is very well maintained, the cleaners were very attentive and it was very nice having a chat with the staff. Such a beautiful motel and the cost is very affordable. Thank you for being a part of my trip home and making it a very enjoyable and wonderful experience. Lovely welcoming host. Booked 10 mins to 9pm as had relative in hospital & needed accom. Full car parks but host kindly offered big space in front of the garage door that he barely uses. Pleasant stay on stormy night. Petrol station Gull & Z 3 mins' drive away.

We have stayed here twice and are very happy with the well equipped, clean rooms and friendly, helpful team. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay at the Barringtons Motor Lodge on the 1st Jan, room was perfect and the hotel manager was an absolute delight! He even kindly mailed my precious rings back after I accidentally left them, at no extra cost!! Would highly recommend staying here and I will be coming back next time im in Whakatane!!
