Tavern Harewood

I had the chicken burger and my wife had the steak sandwich and we shared the wontons. Absolutely delicious food. My only complaint is that the chicken only covered half the burger. HOWEVER such tender meat perfectly cooked, great tasting sauces.... We will definitely be back!

We visited on Saturday evening with our grandparents at 6:30pm. The ice cream spiders were amazing, the service was brilliant. Attentive staff throughout the whole dining process. The meals were hot, tasty and a great size. Many thanks for a wonderful evening, we will be back soon.

I dine at Tavern Harewood most Thursdays with a friend. The food is always delicious and ample servings. But, the best part if dining there is the staff. They are so welcoming and friendly it's a joy to eat there. As well the chefs work really hard and meals appear very quickly - no wait for a plate-. I would recommend anybody to eat at this great venue. Julie Power

We just turned up and the place was fully booked but they offered us a table in the bar area. We ordered the Wednesday special chicken schnitzel and a beef schnitzel. They were delicious and a good size, the food was delivered to our table in time.

I love the Tavern but last night the price shocked me. It used to be affordable, now $30 for a Rib Eye steak that was so thin and small and $17 for a cider. $102 for 2 meals 2 drinks and one desert. Very disappointing that I have to look elsewhere for another affordable restaurant.

Nice Friday night meal with a couple of drinks. Fun atmosphere, reminded me a little of the old Cobb & Co days, just decent food and nice service. Obviously the venue a little more upmarket than back then! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian stack very nice.

We booked the function area and the manager Sam helped us and talked us through how it works. The room was free and very nice and warm, Sam took us through food options and followed up with us closer to the day to organise food. The tavern is very nice and clean with a great selection of beers on tap. They have a restaurant area and a games room pokies. It is wheelchair accessible and the staff were all friendly and the food was really nice. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access with a separate toilet also.

What a joy today at Tavern Harewood. I had not been for some time but it was a real treat. Thank you to my wonderful son for lunch today day before he heads off back to Melbourne. The fish & chip were excellent, the batter perfect. But the service....attentive, and very well run by the manager and the wonderful staff who were delightful! Thanks again Tav Harewood.

We had our Staff work function here in November the food and service was fantastic. The Prices were very reasonable and the portions good. All the platters came out at once and the mains were all served to 45 people within 15 minutes. The Sevice was exceptional and attentive, 10 out of 10 on all fronts. We'll definitly be back :

The food was great and god value for the price, the service was poor. The only time we were offered drinks was on arrival we had to find someone to order deserts for the kids , adults were never offered desert or coffee. There appeared to be staff standing around chatting. Sad to see as the great service used to be a feature of the Harewood tavern.
