We had lunch at OGB, The menu is platter dominant, come prepared to share. Worth a special mention is the broccoli even better than the fried chicken, I know right!. All the food was great and accompanied by an extensive drinks menu and vintage decor this is a great spot to settle into some afternoon grazing and bubbles with friends.
Lovely outside dinning area with wonderful customer service on being seated, menu and water supplied and prompt delivery of ordered food...highly recommended. Inside bar is excellent too..
Sunday took family out for mother's day lunch, this restaurant had delicious food and one last think is an Outstanding customer service by Connor. His service really down to earth.
I spent a week in Christchurch for work and ended up here twice because the food was quite possibly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Get the platter, it is worth it. Those chips are something else, the perfect floof inside and crisp on the outside. I will be coming back if I find myself in Christchurch again. There is a nice atmosphere, I’m not an outside eater at all but I was comfortable enough the first night with the heaters and we ended up with a table inside the second night. The service was great, wines were flowing and food was served quickly. Yum, thanks O.G.B you are a fond memory now.
Gorgoues place. Three seating options - one for private functions, an indoor less nosiy option for those on the older side and an outdoor space with live music, fires etc. Gorgoues vibe. Our waiter was very friendly and we had a front view of the epic bartender and the various drinks he was making. Loved this place so much. Can't recommend the chicken skewers enough . Would highly recommend this place
Everything else was great, but only wish my beers were icy cold. Cocktails were nice.
Had a great NZ beef burger and chips. Beef was succulent and the chips were amazingly crunchy Becky and her colleagues provided a great friendly service

Went for a few drinks after a show last night. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and looked cool in their work attire. Live music provided an awesome vibe and sitting outside under the heaters was cosy. Great cocktails too!
First time I have been to this bar. Stunning environment and great choice on the drinks menu. I tried the 1830 gin which was so good I had 4. The visit was made even better by the friendly and efficient staff
