I visited this restaurant and had a truly enjoyable dining experience. The servers were very friendly and professional, and gave us some great recommendations on dishes to try, including the pork belly. To be honest, I wasn't planning on ordering it, but their enthusiastic recommendation convinced me to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. The pork belly was absolutely delicious, with tender and juicy meat that just melted in your mouth. It's definitely one of the restaurant's signature dishes. In addition, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very comfortable and cozy, making me and my companion feel relaxed and happy. The servers were also very attentive to our needs, checking in on us frequently to see if we needed anything, and clearing our plates and utensils in a timely manner. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality of the food and service at this restaurant. If you're looking for some amazing cuisine and top-notch service, I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try.
The most incredible delightful service, they are so thoughtful lovely and kind. The food is so fantastic, one bite and I knew the best fried chicken I've ever had! And the big boy milkshake lives up to its name. So I know the chips and gravy will be excellent. Cheers to a great chef!
I stopped in on a whim to get a meal before seeing a film next door, and the service and food were delightful. The restaurant cleverly has buttons on each table where you can press to get service, which was prompt and pleasant. Definitely would recommend.

The sweet potato chips where amazing! Soggy but heaps of flavour. I always get a joes Cesar salad, from another branch. However today was a let down. First of all the portion size has changed and the egg wasn’t cooked fully as it still had clear runny white on top. I also remember the bread bits had flavour on them but looks like big white bread cut up and half soggy.
I cannot praise The Joe's Garage City Central highly enough. It is providing amazing and plentiful food with an excellent service. We have been several times in the past, everything was lovely, delicious lamb ribs, tasty beef ribeye, and delectable salmon. Service staffs are all friendly, especially the manager Hyde had always been prompted and courteous. Well worth to visit with its reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend it.
I called on the phone, super responsive and quick! Bit disappointing to pay $28 for this salad. It was mainly mesclun and meat, felt lucky to find the small amounts of cucumber and onion. I found the sauce was quite salty, this could just be a taste preference though. For someone on the run it was convenient and easy to purchase, and maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, better luck next time!
I used to manage in hospitality and wish I had staff like you do at this restaurant. They were absolutely phenomenal and great to talk to. Our server, Hide, was so lovely and awesome. He made the experience just that much better. The food was great as well! Just as consistent between the franchise stores and we usually eat in the Dunedin branch. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are a wee bit far and few in between but they make up for it for a really great burger and pizza options for vegetarians. Consistent across the board
I recently had an amazing dining experience at Joe's Garage Christchurch. The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I highly recommend Joe's Garage Christchurch for its fantastic service, scrumptious food, and inviting ambiance. It's a must-visit spot for an unforgettable dining experience!
Worst beef schnitzel I’ve ever had. Thought we will give them a try after our movie. It had no sauce and it was burned. Did not eat it and send it back with the waiter. Only ate a little bit of the salty chips. Won’t recommend going there.Food: 1/5
