LOVED this plant-based cafe! Great service, beautiful shared courtyard area full of luscious plants, not to mention the amazing vegan and almost entirely gluten free menu except the oat milk! This city needs more vegan cafes and certainly Barefoot Eatery is a very nice and welcome addition! Nice and cozy breakfasts / lunch cafe located at very casual shared space The Welder, offering limited, but good choice of very healthy and organic food options. Nourish bowl is absolute favourite, followed by buckwheat waffles. There is also choice of cabinet food and salads, including some sweets. Smoothies are definitely worth trying as they are absolutely delicious! Fresh juices are nice addition! Well done !
Arrived just after 8am when they opened to try some breakfast but unfortunately they don't start serving the menu til 9am so that was a little disappointing. The latte and slice I had was nice, although a little pricey. Cute place though

Absolutely beautiful waffles. Couldn't even tell that they were gluten free. So many toppings to choose from. Lovey stuff super helpful when we couldn't decide on what we wanted on top of the waffles. Will definitely be back so good!

Cute little eatery with a plant based menu. Definitely add it to your list if you're into vegan food. The buckwheat waffles come with a delicious spread of fruits, berries and homemade Nutella spread.
Delicious healthy plant based options both to dine in and take away in a relaxing, quirky setting. Great coffee too. Have had both dine in and takeaway food, both excellent. Vegetarian options: All vegan menu. Dietary restrictions: Ingredients clearly labeled, nearly all gluten-free.
AMAZING FOOD - and I have tried NUMEROUS things from their menu and cabinet waffles, smoothies, THE BEST macadamia nut chai, toast, nourish bowl, cakes, and raw slices. Not only this but LOVELY staff members who care. We were working in the welder space last week and a friend of mine was visibly upset and the barista happened to notice her crying, and bought over a hot chocolate on the house. Just pure kindness. I would recommend this place so highly. 10/10 service and nourishing wholefoods which make you feel amazing. They also stock raw juices from greenroots juicery.
