First, the service was simply amazing! The food was great, and the beer selection... well, was everything a beer connoisseur would hope for! On top of that, they are an Untapped certified venue!! Great stop for a pint of please your taste buds ! Enjoy ! Vegetarian options: Great vegeterian or vegan choices! Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator.
We had friends visit from Auckland & took them to the Craft Embassy for dinner. The food, cocktails, beers, service & ambiance were all amazing! Highly recommend!
Fantastic place! Truly great food and awesome local craft beer! And very friendly and helpful staff guiding you to suitable brews among the 30 taps on offer. Had the chef's specialty, venison, which was exquisite. Will be coming back next to me in town for sure!
This had been my favorite food place in New Zealand so far. The waiter, Ben, was a really good sport and helped us pick out a delicious wine and food. He was a good time and made us feel right at home. The falafel and beet salad was so delicious, I definitely recommend.
Great spot on the river, beautiful view from the balcony and perfect spot to sit in summer. The interior decor is subdued with slabs of solid wood. Reassuringly masculine and perfect for drinking dark craft brews on a winters day with some good food.Food: 4/5
Calamari is absolutely a blast. Not to mention the free range fried chicken as well. 30 taps to choose from plus ultra friendly staffs. You can't expect more from elsewhere. Definitely a go to place in Christchurch.
Very costly, extremely congested, and severely understaffed. In spite of being in Christchurch's central business district, this institution is really unimpressive. I was there with a large company; there wasn't enough room at our table for eight individuals. There was no working air conditioning, either. To say the least, it was a disappointing time. The business proprietors should get some extra help. Also, lot of disappointment may be felt after ordering the chicken salad. Tucked here and there are pieces of Tegel roast chicken breast and an extremely thin slice of avocado. To put the price of a chicken salad and a beer at $41.50, it's hard to believe! That is one hell of a scam!
What a great spot up on the balcony watching the people go by as you enjoy a Sawmill Pilsner. Really liked the feature wall with the kegs being used behind the bar. My partner and I both enjoyed the magaritas and the staff were great. James Ashwin Kakapo Business Sales
Very good food and a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of options for beer. I was not impressed with the booth seating or the hard wood stalls as I was getting sore towards the end of my meal.
Vegan food options were run of the mill and nothing to go back for but the beer selection on tap will have me venturing back gladly. Folks who were non vegan seemed delighted with their food.
