First time visiting this supermarket. I just wanted to take a few photos to share with my friends because I was surprised to see so many Chinese products and options available in Auckland.nnA female staff member suddenly came over and loudly told me that I was not allowed to take photos. Even after I explained that I was only sharing with my friends, she still said, “I saw you taking photos from here all the way to there.”nnLater, my friend asked me to help buy something, but there were too many choices, so I wanted to take a photo and let him choose which one he wanted. I even asked the staff member first, “Can I take a photo for my friend to choose? He asked me to buy something and I want him to see the options.”nnShe replied, “No photos means no photos.” I said, “If I can’t take a photo, then there’s no way for him to choose, so I won’t buy it.”nnShe simply replied, “Okay.”nnAt that point, I just wanted the owner to see this review and think about whether this is really the store’s policy — that customers would rather leave without buying anything — or if this was just the staff member’s attitude.nnHonestly, this is the first time I’ve experienced a supermarket not allowing customers to take photos. I was only trying to buy something and let my friend choose. The way this was handled was extremely frustrating and made me feel very unwelcome.

Typical Asian supermarket. Although this is my personal favourite Tai Ping. The selection is good and sometimes have a lot of sales as well. I come back at least once a month. Staff aren't bad and can speak English

Very good Asian supermarket and we often come to get fresh vegetables and meat and sea food. Various products and easy to find items. The location is very handy and the service is good.

This Asian Supermarket has been my go to shop for now. Buying my fave fruits such As Red Pear, Bananas, Mandarins along with Red Onions and Tomatoes has been my favorite purchases here. Pricing is on point and this shop is so handy. Parking right at the front.

Good selection of items. Nearly all Asian items can be found here. No need to go to market as prices are nearly same. The shop is bit congested with people bumping each other on busy times. Try to get a small trolly so that you can move around the shop easily. Parking is available around the place.
