The service used to be pretty bad, but after the renovation, it’s much better. Hope they keep it up!

I’m leaving this review on behalf of a friend who shops here regularly but doesn’t speak English. She has experienced frequent price errors at checkout — items being scanned at the wrong price. Every time she shops, she has to double-check the receipt to make sure everything is correct. It’s really inconvenient to come back and deal with it afterward, and the staff are not always helpful when correcting mistakes. Hopefully the store can improve both pricing accuracy and customer service.

The security guard's behavior was extremely rude, unacceptable, disrespectful, and impolite. You're not the first in Oakland to have his stuff hauled home and then brought back. We don't have a car. I am sick and cannot get pregnant. He did not respect my age. It was a completely irresponsible act. I will advise friends and neighbors not to visit. Until the matter is corrected, I will not accept anything less than an apology in front of the people, as this irresponsible employee did.

Good variety of Asian groceries and cheap fruit and veges. This is also a good source of the more exotic Asian ingredients that you cannot find in the International aisle of your local supermarket.nnThere is also a fish and butchery section here if you are wanting fresh meats and a mini restaurant that sells roasted meat meals if you're hankering for an Asian lunch.
