New World Stonefields

Wow!nThis is I think the best New World store I have been to in Auckland!nLovely tidy store, all products were full, lots of space with a big Valentines Display right at the entrance.nMy fave thing was the bakery ! So lucky I dont live by. The cakes and pastries looked delish as did the pies and quiches.nDefinitely a place to grab a bite with your shopping or a lunch.nGive the store a visit Im sure you won't be disappointed!

My fav new world ever!! My go-to supermarket as the staff are so nice, everything is always tidy and well stocked, the deli and bakery have amazing ready food and treats!! Special shoutout to the staff who stacked the pomegranate

I just love this New World. The staff are so nice and helpful, the products are fresh and of good quality, and the store is tidy and arranged in a way that makes sense to my brain lol. Used to live nearby, and even though now I live closer to another grocery store, I still often come here when I happen to be in the area.

I had a fantastic experience at this shop! The cleanliness is impressive, and the fresh food is top-notch. The staff are incredibly friendly, making the atmosphere even more welcoming. I also appreciate the organized layout, which makes it easy to find everything. Highly recommend!

Overall, this is a great New World store and one we have visited many times. Unfortunately, a recent incident in the car park has left us very disappointed and concerned.nnWhile we were crossing from the car park to the store, one of the staff members drove through the crossing at speed and almost hit us. I believe that if we had been only a few steps further onto the crossing, we would have been struck by his vehicle. Given the speed he was travelling, we could have been seriously injured.nnWhat made the situation worse was that he did not stop, acknowledge what had happened, or check whether we were okay. He simply kept driving. Staff later confirmed that the person involved was an employee and also mentioned that he had parked in the wrong spot.nnThe apology we received from the staff member felt insincere, and the lack of visible concern or meaningful follow-up from management has been disappointing. This is not a minor issue. Behaviour like this around pedestrian crossings and car parks can easily result in a serious injury, especially when there appears to be no accountability.nnThe store and its management still have an opportunity to take this seriously, deal with it appropriately, and show that customer safety and staff accountability matter. However, based on what we have seen so far, it feels like the matter has been treated far too lightly.nnIt is also disappointing that the store was not willing to provide enough details for us to lodge the matter properly with the police, so the driver could be held accountable and authorities could decide whether further action, such as penalties or driver education, is appropriate.nnIt is sad to write this, because the store itself is generally very good. However, the way this incident has been handled has affected our confidence in the store’s management and their commitment to customer safety.
