New World Remuera

Nit the biggest supermarket around but able to find everything I needed. It felt a little old, clean and tidy but needing a refit. Nothing was particularly cheap but that's the same with all supermarkets. Free car park and seemed big enough for size of store. Staff were friendly bagged my groceries for me.

Not the type of person to put up a feed back , but yesterday afternoon I came to Remuera new world store to buy me some hot food deli. Notice that the food I purchase was absolute disgusting , and this isn’t the first time. Need staff members from deli to do better. Pizza tasted half cooked & the chicken just made me & my kids stomach sore.

This is the supermarket I have frequented for years, although not perfect, yesterday was my worse experience ever.nI needed to return some Udon noodles that had rotted in the bag. Initially, it was hard to find anyone to complain to. Eventually, I was directed to someone, who's only interest was that I didn't have a receipt. I said I wasn't interested in a refund. I just wanted to point out the problem and hoped they would do something about it. I was told they didn't need to do anything as I didn't have the receipt. I was then told, when I asked for a simple apology and an acknowledgement of the rotting food, that they didn't need to because they didn't make it.nNo apology, nothing. Needless to say it will be a long time before I go back there again.

not one to leave a review but weirdest customer service ever all the staff were in the worst mood, asked for help finding stuff and the lady didn’t care at all. Was pretty much ignored when it got to the checkout. So strange. I too work in customer service so i know what it’s like but this was just strange.

This is one of my local supermarkets, and unfortunately almost every time I’ve gone through the checkouts the check out staff have come across as rude. Eg just tapping on the eftpos machine when I have to pay instead of saying anything, feeling like they don’t want me to come to their till, or a handful of times I’ve gone through checkouts they have not even acknowledged me and kept talking between themselves. I get people have off days and are tired but this has happened almost every time I’ve gone through checkouts which is quite disappointing and not the best shopping experience.
