Farro Fresh

Orakei bay village is a very popular place to dine and to shop. It also has a fantastic view. I like to shop at the Farro. The display is neat and tidy. Fruits and vegetables were very fresh and premium in quality. So many cheese selection and there was tasting on site. Most of the products are not found in common supermarkets. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Gourmet paradise! This branch is situated between two affluent suburbs of Auckland. It's part of the Orakei Village. It's a treat for foodies and a market for some artisan producers to showcase the best they can offer. Kiwis love food. You can find a lot of novelty stuff that you normally can't see at the supermarket. In times of post COVID-19, we need to support local produce and here is a great place to start.

Super groceries, good quality

Bad points: Faro's prices are definitely not justified. Their bread, while descent, is below European standard. A piece of a good cheese costs $40, unless you buy a micro sized portion for $15, which will fail to feed more than 1 person. Good points: they have a good range of imported products overpriced and their pastries are good and almost affordable. To avoid throwing too much bread on the evening, they put it on sale, which is very appreciated.

Great store, product selection and helpful staff

Lots of choices, good quality! Bought a combo of croissant and coffee, the coffee should be medium size as advised but I was given a small cup. Won’t bother to ask for a replacement since the coffee doesn’t taste good.

Great selection of fresh produce, an abundance of choice for cheese lovers, great quality and selection of meats and lots of boutique brands which will happily keep you entertained. Friendly and helpful staff and never have to wait in line!

You need a better, less aggressive security guard. Just got abused for forgetting to sign in. It's actually not the law to sign in at supermarkets. Yelled at me for an honest mistake. I'm a regular customer. People like this go on a power trip.
