Strawberry Fare

Just had my birthday meal here . I had the smoked salmon and my wife had turkey salad, for dessert she had sticky toffee pudding and I had strawberry pillows. A most excellent meal, great service though a little loud with the acoustics of the high ceiling. Highly recommend. Only remembered to take pics of dessert

I went on a Wednesday at 11:45am and there was only 2 other groups of people at the restaurant so it was a nice and quiet atmosphere. Me and my friend ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, the Caesar Salad, and the Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate Mousse Gateaux and we would highly recommend all of them!!! plus their in-house made Lemon, Lime, and Bitters was also pretty good, I rate a 4.5 stars because it was lovely but I would have liked a slice of fresh lemon considering I was $6.50 and at Strawberry Fare [respectfully] :- Meals were well portioned and came in a timely manner. We were seated next to the staircase and still had a lovely view out the window. Service was good, I tried to buy a voucher but they didn't have any in at the moment which is alright. I will definitely be back in the future for another great dining experience! I give my brunch a 4.5 stars, but Google won't let me do a half star sorry :,

Beautiful food and great service! Booked a table for lunch through First Table and our experience was 5 stars.nnI got the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and a side of avocado which was literally the best I've ever had - the combination of smoked salmon with the crunchy toasted ciabatta, eggs, hollandaise sauce and avo was just heaven.nnMy husband got the farmers breakfast which was also exceptionalnnWe weren't the biggest fan of the hotcakes. Although the toppings were lovely, the hotcakes tasted like egg white pancakes you make when you're trying to diet. They weren't bad but just not something we'd get again.nnThe iced latte with oat milk was really nice and my husband got the liquor coffee with irish whiskey which was a bit too intense so he didn't enjoy that one as much.nnFor dessert we had the dreamy creamy cheesecake which was probably one of the best we've had in terms of both presentation and taste. Highly recommendnnHard to find parking close-by so we parked on one of the side streets nearby only 2 minute walk

Always the best lunch spot. The food is spontaneous! We always satisfied with the quality of the food and the service. Spurb!

I never post reviews and I am sad to be posting this but after ringing the restaurant and asking for the owner to call me I never heard from anyone .nMy family and I have dined here quite a few times and the meal and service has always been on pointnThis time unfortunately was terrible .nThe waiters were confused and rushed. we had to explain our orders twice to two different people our drinks order was forgotten after a second person came to ask what we ordered it took 30 mins for us to get any drinks . our steaks were very undercooked ,mine went back by the time it was sorted everyone else had eaten their meals . the two other steaks my family had were rare and they were too uncomfortable to ask for it to be cooked more . the beans were raw as well . I had no cutlery for my meal when I asked for some cutlery the response was pretty coolnThe upshot was it took 30 mins to get a drink , our meals were undercooked and it took so long to come out , I was dehydrated and after our initial drink order nobody came to offer water or ask if we wanted more drinks ,nwe were there for our anniversary and we got asked in then beginning if it was a special occasion then at the end of our main we got asked again .nWe could feel the more that happened the cooler the staff were getting which was un warranted as we were not complaining just asking for water , knives etcnWe paid the bill which was $240 we normally feel this is good value and are happy to pay that this time we were not feeling great at all paying this but did not want to say anything as we were feeling pretty uncomfortable with the staff.
