Strawberry Fare

I've come to Strawberry Fare a few times now for dessert and have been so impressed by the quality and flavors! Highly recommend them for mixed drinks and beautiful desserts.nVisited for brunch after a big run today and was nice to try some different food. The Farmers breakfast was alright beans were firm and cold in a tomato sauce, not sure what recipe it was but it was different than what I've experienced. The duck hash was outstanding, beautiful flavors and a salad that complimented it well. I wouldn't order coffee again tbh but they have my vote for desserts and mixed drinks still. An exceptional place for us to share our first Valentine’s Day evening meal. Our booking was early at 4.15pm, and a 2 hour time slot provided for us to complete our meal.nOur waitress - Bernadette was outstanding - bubbly and friendly, providing detailed explanations about the menu, and provided service that was flawless.nThe food - wow! The steak was the best I’ve ever eaten, cooked to perfection, the fish of the day was stunning, and our desert was impeccable! Excellent portion sizes for both our meals. A genuinely fantastic experience

Here’I had a wonderful experience at Strawberry Fare Merivale. The selection of both food and desserts is fantastic, with so many tempting options to choose from.nnWe ended up just having dessert, and it was absolutely delicious — every bite was so satisfying! Definitely a must-visit if you have a sweet tooth. Highly recommend!

We were anxious about whether we will be starved on Christmas night but we were lucky to find Strawberry Fare and booked right away! We were lucky to be arranged with the window seating - very lovely sunset view and we were bathed in a beautiful sun with wine, gave us a natural boost to the Christmas vibes. We were tourists but were surrounded by mostly happy locals, all enjoying the Christmas celebration, and the restaurant also gave everyone crackers!nnFood - food was perfect and GENEROUSLY portioned. It was a very satisfying and lovely Christmas dinner.

We decided to try Strawberry Fare after reading the reviews, however we were slightly disappointed with our meals when they came out. They were fresh and tasty however not worth the price tag attached. We opted for the Turkey Salad and Ravioli. Great selection of Wines, beers, ciders and cocktails with a mocktail alternative. Great views from inside the restaurant. Tables and the floor could be updated to suit the rest of the restaurants vibe. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.
