KFC Papanui

Arrived at about 11am today still quiet, ordered at the counter and was served by Julieta. She's friendly and smiley but struggles with English so have to be patient. The renovated restaurant looks brighter and more inviting but drinks dispenser is still old and doesn't work very well. I requested for fresh hot chips and I was very pleased that my request was granted. KFC staff does tend to prioritize drive thru customers so that's why we like to go earlier in the morning to avoid the queue.

I’m disappointed with my recent visit. Here are the issues I experienced:nn- Staff were not friendly or helpful during my visit.n- I ordered $160 worth of food for dine-in, but my order was packed for takeaway.n- The chicken tasted like it was fried in old oil and had a noticeable smell.n- The burger tasted like it had been prepared many hours ago, indicating stale or reheated components.nnI expect better quality and service from KFC. Please advise on how this can be addressed and what steps you will take to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Staff are clueless every time. KFC is supposed to be fast food and when three people are standing around talking and two people taking the trash how ca anyone expect their food fast. Not to mention the snail pace the sad faced staff members walk around it’s a wonder anyone gets their food.

Good experience overall, I got a Hot and Spicy Colonel's Lunch for $9.80 and redeemed a survey code to get free chips and drink. The food was great, the service was good, however, some of the chairs were quite dirty.

I ordered a meal in a drive through, thinking that i will get ice cold drink in this hot day. But i never tasted Fanta like that. Never going back again. Hope the cold drink was not out of date.
