Bought a Babolat racquet for my son as his birthday present for $27x on May this year and been told that we were offered a free restring and could make it on Oct before inter club started. My wife went to the store last Sunday and been told that we had do that when buying it and if we want him to restring it, we had to pay by ourselves. Not friendly and will not come again, there are many good tennis club can do it in north shore and cheaper and we don't need to drive 20m one way. Not recommend. We are living and playing tennis in Mairangi bay tennis club, much better than it.
Happy that a 2022 version of a racquet I wanted went out of stock online in AUS and NZ as I dithered on it for too long. After some searching, came across Smash Tennis and managed to get a 2025 model with stringing included and free over grip delivered in a, frankly, extremely quick, cheapest available, and personable service I could imagine, so yeah I'm happy with that!

Quick delivery, however, very disappointed with a breech in the Consumer Guarantees Act, where an item I had purchased was substituted for another item without my consent. When I queried the substitution, the seller advised that the item was out of stock with their supplier, that it was common practice to make replacements, and that I was being unreasonable. If I had known this item was not in stock, I would have purchased elsewhere.
