I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Rebel Sports in Wairau. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how spacious, clean, and well-organized the store is. Every section—from running shoes to sportswear and equipment—was easy to navigate, and the range of products was incredible. What really made the visit special, though, was the staff. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, taking time to ask about my needs, and offering tailored advice based on my sport and goals. I felt valued as a customer, and they even went above and beyond to help me find the perfect gear. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out, Rebel Sports in Wairau is a must-visit. I left feeling confident and excited about my new gear—this store is a real standout in the community..
I came here about a handful of times for various occasions.nMy overall impression is that it is a disorganized store with a limited variety of items. The service was a hit-and-miss. Some staff were kind but some were unpleasant.nnI came for a click and collect but there was no dedicated staff or area for this, ultimately having to queue up behind shoppers. Having to queue and wait destroys the purpose of c&c because by the time it is my turn to pay, I would have already found the items that I already have in mind. It ruins the retail experience. Moving forward, I am hoping you can follow what many other stores are doing and designate an area for it.
My daughter brought a click and collect, but unfortunately wrong size, asked if they can exchange them, was told to take them home buy another pair online and then return with the current pair for a refund.nAfter I had contacted online help who arranged a correct size to be delivered to store, Wairau store didnt seem to know about it, said they would look into it and ring me back, Still waiting.nA lot of hassle on my part to exchange a pair of shoes
Extremely limited selection. Had no black track pants at all in a small size. Last time I came here I came away empty handed too. Limited selection of stock for a teen boy
I had a disappointing experience at the store today. I was holding a $300 pair of shoes along with other items and politely asked to use the restroom. I was told it was for kids only, and when I asked again if I could quickly use it, I was told to leave the store and use a public one nearby.nnI found this response surprising and unhelpful, especially considering I was clearly intending to make a significant purchase. It didn’t feel like an appropriate way to treat a customer especially from the store managernnI decided to leave and shop elsewhere.
