Skyline Rotorua

An iconic Rotorua experience that can't be missed. Within a few minutes you're up the top and the views from the top overlooking the town are incredible.nWe purchased 5 luge rides and although one track was unavailable for maintenance, we got to experience the other 4 and then redo our favourite. The staff were accommodating and friendly and helped me find a cart for my size being over 2m tall.nnThe squeals and laughter echo through the hillside on the ride back to the top and you can take a break at any time in the restaurant nearby if you need.

Half the ride structure shut so wait time 20 mins per ride. However great experience for the family...lots and lots of fun for all. 3 rides enough however 5 would be preferable on a full working set up

Skyline Rotorua provides unique activities for different ages such as the Luge, Zipline, Skyswing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Dining at the cafe and/or Restaurant, or just to see the panoramic views of Lake Rotorua and Rotorua City. We have been here plenty of times and always bring visitors around too. You can only access it via the Gondola, and at this stage, you can also bundle up and save on different activities. We truly love the Luge as it is simple to operate, and is a great introduction to those who may have a fear of driving cars/carts/vehicles with an engine. The Luge is operated only via gravity, body weight, and very simple controls. We also enjoyed viewing the Jelly Belly store and exploring the different flavours featured on the wall. At the end of the visit, they provided us with free digital copies of souvenir photos which we really appreciated. We are so excited to visit again!

Family of 4 did the 5 Luge rides each - best fun ive had in a long time! We were hoping to try the swing and the zip line but the weather was cold and rainy so we will have to come back another time. Thanks for a great day out.

We purchased the gondola and lunch package.nThe buffet lunch was amazing. The sites going up and down on the gondola were magnificent.nThe Mountain Bike show or something was on which didn’t dampen any of the atmosphere of the place. It did mean you waited a little longer for a gondola as there was specific guest gondolas and bike ones allocated. Overall I would return or recommend it to visitors.
