We’ve been to the Rotorua Trick Art Gallery three times now, and somehow it still doesn’t get old. Every visit turns into a fresh excuse to do even sillier poses than the last one. The kids absolutely love it – they’re straight into planning their “best angle” like tiny art directors, and the laughs start pretty much as soon as you walk in.nThe highlight every single time has to be the artwork that makes you look like a baby. Watching the kids lose it laughing while you’re stuck looking like a giant toddler is both humbling and hilarious. Worth it.nIt’s one of those places where you forget about the clock, fill your phone with ridiculous photos, and walk out smiling. Easy fun, lots of laughs, and great memories. Clearly good enough to keep us coming back. Would 100% recommend.
Amazing place! Lots of fun. Inside is quite warm and some of the photos are getting up and down off the ground. But overall great palce. Cute little introduction video short and sweet to explain how to get the best pics ^-^. Online you get discount on tickets.
Wow, what a fun, creative activity for the family. We were lucky to come at a time when we were some of the only people there. This helped us to feel more confident in acting out funny poses without others watching. At busier times, there will likely be others watching you pose so just keep that in mind for the more introverted people. The artwork is beautifully painted and gave is some amazing shots. A couple could have done with touch-ups as they had worn paint but not really noticeable in the photos unless you were looking harder. You will need to lay on the floor or sit on some surfaces for some of the photo poses. All in all, we came away with fabulous and hilarious photos. We liked the photo prompts on the wall to give us ideas on possible poses. If you go along, prepare to be creative and just immerse yourself in the experience for the best photos.
Well set out easy to get aroundnwas a bit noisy with a group of school children were coming behind us but really enjoyed it
