Skyline Luge Launch Area 2

Awesome luge tracks and fantastic views of Lake Rotorua and surrounds from every angle. Definitely buy the 5 rides and try all the different runs.

Loved riding Skyline’s fast, long, & fun luge!! The views & LED tunnels were awesome!! Wish I had remembered to keep my helmet, as it had a QR code for photos of me during the ride!! I gave it 4 stars as the price of tickets was very costly!

Such a great time! Spend 2-3 hours outside zooming down the mountain with the wind in your face...ride back up the mountain on the chair lift. Fabulous restaurant at the top for snacks or a full lunch.nFun for the family.

Tips for the luge: First time riders have longer waits than others due to instructions. We had to wait 30 min first time peak season but only 10 min thereafter. There are two launch areas: The one in the back has much shorter lines. You can buy additional luge tickets on top of the mountain. Families can share 5-ride tickets etc, so much cheaper than buying multiple singles.

Absolutely loved it,grand daughters 6th bday we all had a blast,and a yummy buffet for lunch in the stratosphere restaurant,Make sure you take a backpack with warm clothes,even though the sun was out it was freezing,specially going down the luge,warm gloves tooo would help
