Skyline Luge Launch Area 2

We loved the experience, but it was really, really crowded and the helmets were really stinky and even wet from sweat from the person before us. I would definitely recommend giving it a go anyways!

Luge was very fun, beautiful scenery and not too long of a wait. On the other hand staff were awful. Most staff were standing around doing nothing, watching us do their jobs for you. The woman at the first launch point was disrespectful and has no respect for anyone but herself. There was an available cart and I got in it when the other worker told me to, and the lady simply stood in front of me, pointed at me and said “get out” no ‘this one isn’t okay to ride, sorry this one isn’t available try that cart over there’ simply get out. When we went for a second ride she made comments and laughed at me. Didn’t catch the name but had a brunette braid working on the first entrance to get into the luge cart. This behavior is not acceptable and I am very disappointed in my visit. If you cannot be respectful you should not be working in a job that requires you to have basic human decency. Absolutely disgusting.

Tips for the luge: First time riders have longer waits than others due to instructions. We had to wait 30 min first time peak season but only 10 min thereafter. There are two launch areas: The one in the back has much shorter lines. You can buy additional luge tickets on top of the mountain. Families can share 5-ride tickets etc, so much cheaper than buying multiple singles.

Such a great time! Spend 2-3 hours outside zooming down the mountain with the wind in your face...ride back up the mountain on the chair lift. Fabulous restaurant at the top for snacks or a full lunch.nFun for the family.
