Saxton Lodge

The Saxton Lodge is very lovely we had a great size room with great beds for our family of 5 including a baby the rooms were tidy and well stocked. The location for us was great us and the large park next door was a great spot for the kids to kick a ball around. And the staff was just the kindest so helpful definitely a must stay if your in the Nelson area.

Very accommodating of us arriving later in the evening. Nothing was a problem. Both room and bed super comfy and a fabulous view out onto blossom trees.

As a regular guest I thoroughly recommend Saxton Lodge as a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, Dion and Alexandra and their team are a pleasure to deal with, and the restaurant food is delicious.

Dion and Alex are such incredible people! I’ve been staying here for over a year when I’m in Nelson for work and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! The rooms are always exceptionally clean and tidy! They are very comfortable and spacious. All the rooms have a chromecast which is great to be able to watch your own shows and is super easy to connect too. The wifi is also really good! The communal kitchen is always clean and has everything you need to cook a meal. The restaurant meals are always hot, fresh and super tasty! Dion and Alex are super helpful, kind, welcoming, caring, attentive and are always willing to help. Parking is great as there is always a park available and the parking can’t be seen from the roadside.nAlso can’t forget just how great the water pressure is.nI couldn’t recommend a better place to stay in Nelson than here.
