Stayed here for a wedding at the end of last year. Only stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful area, the owners were lovely people. Rooms were clean, the kitchen area was well-equipped. Very central location. If you're planning a trip to Nelson, I would recommend.

Saxton Lodge is a nice and peaceful place to stay, run by Dion who is an absolute gem! He accommodated all our needs and was friendly and helpful from the time of booking right through to checkout. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very well located — perfect for a comfortable and convenient stay.nnHighly recommended!

Dion was very accommodating during our stay here. Although we were only there for the duration of our deployment he made us very welcome and was at our door with any issues we had.nRooms are big and tidy, beds are big and comfortable pillows are amazing.nPlenty of car parking, and the lodge is easy to get to. 100% would stay there again.
