Broadgreen Historic House

What a great museum! Went once as a child on a school visit and it was interesting to go back. Well maintained and lovely friendly ladies working there

What a marvellous place! Definitely worth visiting. Unfortunately, when we visited, the rose garden wasn't in its full glory, but the house had lots of unique and interesting things to see, read about and interact with. Thank you to lovely volunteers who told us some interesting facts about the place!

Free admission for locals and with fee for tourist to enter the house. The rose garden entrance is free. Roses are in bloom on November but I visited January there are still some.

Set in an area that was once a farm, Broadgreen House is a must visit for those interested in history and to see how families lived in days gone by. With lots of interesting things to look at from some of the flooring made from ship ballast to stunning pieces of furniture, Broadgreen House has something for everyone. June the host was excellent in her story telling of how the families lived.

Historic homestead located in Nayland Road, Stoke. Soourrounded by Samuel's Rose Garden that is well worth a visit especially in spring.
