Ripple Rotorua

We enjoyed our time at the Ripple Rotorua. I was pleasantly surprised how cozy the room was. It was also very clean which I appreciated as we had previously stayed at other motels on our trip that weren't. Our first night we got in I was looking to do laundry as we did a big hike that day and we were running low on clean clothes. Unfortunately the washer coin thing was jammed. It was 8:30 pm and I used the phone outside of reception to see if someone could fix it so I could do laundry. I spoke with Ellen and she was lovely. She let me know that laundry closes at 9:30 pm and that by the time she got there and assessed it it might not be open. But offered for her staff to wash my clothes the next day as we were heading out for the day. Which was very nice. The next day, the women at the front desk knew of the request and washed my clothes that could be dried and helped me get a clothes horse so I could separate my hang dry clothes. We also had housekeeping knock on our door to ask us if we needed anything. Overall service at the Ripple was outstanding! In addition, they had a cute little welcome package for us when we arrived with all of the information we needed. They also provided locally made cream and coffee in the room so we could try it and support local. I would definitely recommend the Ripple for anyone staying in Rotorua!

Stayed here few a few days during our honeymoon. Great location near a lot of local things to see while visiting. Staff was nice and helpful. Great stay overall, highly recommend.

Great spot to relax after a busy day siteseeing. We had a hot tub room overlooking a stream full of Rainbow Trout. The room was very comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect to ease sore muscles. The on-site restaurant is also 5 star, it's well worth a visit when staying in Rotorua.

Our family had a great time staying at Ripple. It's a 10 minute drive from the city centre but directly across the road from the luge and the old Rainbow Springs. There is a clear stream fed from the spring that runs through the property. There is an onsite restaurant but we didn't have the opportunity to dine there.nnThe room was tidy and clean with all the amenities you would need for a family school holiday. The boys had a good time jumping on the trampoline, playing mini golf and splashing about in the pool.nnThe staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and were more than happy for us to have family over at our unit for a birthday celebration.nnAfter the trip, we noticed the credit card was charged twice by mistake and all it took was a quick email for Ripple to refund the doubled up charge two days later.nnHighly recommend.

I will absolutely be staying here again. After reading a variety of reviews my husband and I eventually took the risk and opted to stay here.nnThey have everything you need, with great service and great value for money. We'll definitely come back when we're next in roto-vegas.
