Ripple Rotorua

We had a private spa room as a treat for the weekend.nThe staff were incredible from the moment we arrived. Super helpful and friendly.nThe rooms are spacious and well appointed. We had a lovely wee stream running by our room and the spa was a lush treat every night.nExcellent shower pressure. The beds were a but firm for my liking but my fiend was happy with her bed.nA couple of R&M issues - nothing making the place unusable though.nWe loved the sustainability ethos and really enjoyed reading about the local providers and the green approach.nThis is a great mid line accomodation, well located and well appointed. Id love to come back with my children. They'd love it

Super clean, everything you need from a motel was available. Great value for money. The local, real milk supplied was delicious!nnStaff are super friendly & helpful. We were walk ins and they were very happy to help. They didn't make us feel like we were putting them out.nnNot fancy but not run down like some places. Some fixtures could do with replacing purely for aesthetics but nothing was broken, everything worked.nBoys were happy as F1 racing was available!nnQuiet motel, no traffic or party noise.nOutside pool was lovely and warm on a cold starry evening & even better, it was spotless! Private spa bath was shiny clean, very nice to relax in before bed.nnKing bed super comfy if you like a slightly firm bed which we do! Room had heaps of space, plenty of power points. TVs in lounge and bedroom so I didn't have to watch car racing!nnLocation perfect for mucking around on the luge, only 10 minute drive to fat dog for brekkie. Perfect!

At the end of summer 2026 there is a mild air of managed decline. The on-site restaurant is closed and mini golf and games room have been sold. Our room was fine and clean but the heat pump was not working and took three members of staff to restart it the morning after a 6C overnight stay. Swimming pool and hot tub were fun and warm. It was fine but we will probably try our luck somewhere else on next visit.

Fantastic friendly customer service. Ripple rang us before hand confirming our booking. They sounded super excited to have us stay. Sent a friendly txt on the day letting us know our room was ready even before check in time. Room was tidy, such friendly staff. Kids loved the mini golf,games room, play ground, the river walk and the heated pool. We highly recommend Ripple! See you next year Ripple for another ripper of a holiday!

Had a great stay at Ripple Rotorua. The rooms were clean and comfortable and stocked with tea, coffee, milk etc. We had a balcony that overlooked the stream out back and could watch the rainbow trout swimming with the current. The staff were very friendly and even helped us get sorted when our car battery went flat.
