Pullman Auckland Hotel

Chose Pullman Auckland over the other CBD hotels but left disappointed in the service and room quality. Was here for business and the room lighting was the biggest letdown as it was really dark. I hunted around for master light switches and found none. There was only one ceiling light at the entrance and that's it. The room only had tiny lamps by the bedside and the table. It's probably a romantic hotel for couples, but not one that's conducive for work. Not a business-friendly hotel if you ask me. And the toilet flush hardly works. I had to press it a handful of times for it to flush properly. In terms of service, it wasn't great as the concierge confirmed my booking of transport from hotel to airport but the reception had no idea about it and I had to request for a confirmation upon check in just to make sure they got it right. Location wise it's also a bit of a walk downhill to the main shopping strip. I do like the old quarters feel but I'm not certain if I'll stay the next time. There are plenty of better options nearer to the harbour.

I stayed in an executive room for 5 nights. The room was spacious and comfortable with separate lounge area. I had a great view over the parks of the university and city skyline. The 25m pool, sauna, spa and steam room I used every day. It felt more like a resort stay with these facilities. Close to shops and restaurants. I enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Pullman. Can only highly recommend the Pullman for accommodation, facilities and service.

Our stay at Pullman Hotel was wonderful! The staff were friendly and informative special thanks to Camilla , and the room was spotless. We celebrated our anniversary there, though I forgot to specify which one. Nonetheless, the hotel made it feel special. We can't wait to return!!Rooms: 5/5

Perfect for what we needed, bed was huge and so comfortable. Staff were amazing. Only downside was the the lights in the bathroom were not good enough for our 16yr daughter to do her makeup. Her comments not ours.Rooms: 5/5

Fabulous place, great facilities. Just a bit pricey and not really set up for a large family like ours - there were 2 adults, 2 children, and 2 toddlers so had to have 2 apartments on separate levels effectively splitting our family in half for the duration. Apartments on residents side were great. Staff were amazing and breakfast was great value

The staff make this place what it is. They went above and beyond and were the most kind, amazing people I have come across in the service industry in years. They all need and deserve pay rises!. They made this experience 1000/1000% amazing for us, couldn't fault a thing. I highly recommend and will be back with my family again. Noteworthy details: Staff are above and beyond! Absolutely loved all of them.

Experience a fantastic evening at Pullman hotel! Kids will have a blast at the swimming pool, spa, and sauna. The hotel room is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious. I am already looking forward to my next stay at this wonderful hotel.Rooms: 5/5

Everyone working there was super helpful from the check-in staff to the breakfast staff to the concierge. They helped us with maps, arranged transportation to the airport for us, accommodated special breakfast requests happily, and were just super helpful. The location was great. It was within walking distance of so many things. We would stay again for sure!

steep hills surrounding the hotel lead for a challenge if you are walking. great location otherwise and fantastic service and rooms, minibar fridge was not cold. Amazing service and a lovely spa/pool Walkability: difficult for people not used to walking up steep hills. it is a downhill walk to get to places such as CBD as well as spark arena leading to an uphill climb to get back. Food & drinks: great food and drink options available from the tapestry bar and grill attached to the hotel

I cannot speak highly enough about the service at this hotel. The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to be as helpful and accommodating as possible. From the front desk, to the concierge, to the restaurant staff - outstanding. A special mention to Site who was working in the restaurant for breakfast - its staff like these that make people want to return and stay again. We will be back. Rooms were clean and ready when we checked in. Breakfast buffet was really good!
