Pet Doctors Mt Eden

My dogs wag their tails when they hear we're "going to the vet". They basically pull me into the clinic when we're walking up because they know they'll get pats and treats with every visit. We have received wonderful treatment from this clinic. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and above all else genuinely care about my dogs.

We went in with our kitty an hour late due to a mix up, but the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and I could tell the vet genuinely loved animals. Some vets are really cold! She gave us excellent recommendation and tips that we haven't even thought of. We've moved away so sadly we can't use this place anymore, but I remember it being the best vet visit I've ever had. Thank you for looking after us so well!

KV is a fantastic vet to our furry family. Our dogs never get upset about going to see her & the cat enjoys exploring around the consultation room finding the best hiding spot. She is lovely and genuinely cares for us and our pets!

Been with them for six years now. Always have smiling and friendly staff. Place is a bit small. Sometimes vets try to oversell their other services. Overall good vet practice to bring your pet in as a permanent clinic. Always ensure to have pet insurance.

My poor cat had suffered a horrendous gash to her throat which was sewn up by the amazing Carrington after hours surgeon. A brilliant job was done to save this family pet. Pet Doctors checked her out the next morning after surgery and she was able to stay home rather than be further traumatized by staying away at the vets for another day. Our pet has recovered very well and thanks to Pet Doctors for their understanding of our cats needs.

KV is amazing. I wish I had met her sooner. She is attentive and knowledgeable. The consultations never feel rushed and my dog loves her he does not love just anyone he had spinal disc surgery a few years ago and KV really checks him over and has him walk around, not just the usual weigh in and dental check. I am also a recent cat parent and KV offered some great tips and advice. I would not take my pets anywhere else.

I have been taking my dogs to Pet Doctors Mt Albert for many years. We have always received friendly compassionate care from Berend, Liz & Melissa. When I was faced with serious decisions about operations & treatment for cancer I was given very honest and frank advice. The best advice was when Berend explained the diagnosis after a tumour was removed & said to me "If it was my dog I wouldn't operate". He explained how it would involve too much invasive surgery & as the cancer had spread it wouldn't cure her. It saved my girl having to go through the trauma of surgery & has allowed her to enjoy what time she has left & for me to make the most of her time.

I have an elderly cat who has kidney disease. The disease was diagnosed very early through a pre-op blood test. Any slight variation in her daily routine is checked to ensure that her symptoms remain under control. I am constantly amazed at the amount of knowledge & skill shown by the entire team at the Mount Albert Vet. Not only does my cat get special attention when she visits, but all the birds, turtle, rabbits, chickens and numerous other creatures they treat also receive that care. And so do their owners! The practice is currently sharing premises with Lynfield vet, but their level of care has not waned, and the friendly service from all the team has not faltered. I look forward to visiting them in their new premises.

Cleo loves this place! Maggie and her team are awesome. They have people who are experienced and love being around furry things! Our pup comes home all tuckered out. Been going here since it opened

I have used pet Dr's in Mt Albert for my birds as they have alot of knowledge there that other vets don't always have. They diagnosed my cocktiel's diabetes and he is still keeping well and healthy over 2 years since diagnosis thanks to their expert support, with diet and medication he is on daily. When I tell other vets about having a bird with diabetes they are very surprised. Mt Albert vets have all the right equipment to deal with any treatment my birds require, I have moved out of Auckland for over a year now but still come up to see them with my birds as i trust them totally.
