We called into marina today to find out about the visitors berth. One of the boat owners pointed us in the direction of security guard, Lou. I found her very informative and helpful and welcoming. Even had the time to show us at the end of the pier where we could tie up. She was also very clear about parking protocols which I appreciated. Looking forward to calling in there soon with our boat thank you

Great place to park your yacht.nGood security, easy access on access card only. Easy fuel wharf with fixed lines and full fenders along the eastern side. High flow diesel only and long delivery hoses.nThey sell bait and Ice, salt and party on account only from D pier. Good support workshop, laundry and cleaning services. Friendly team happy to help you out.nnD pier also have well priced Honda sales if you are in the market for a new outboard.

Totally disgusted with the after sales service of Orakei marine, have had numerous issues with our Merry fisher 895 from day of handover, from incorrectly wired electronics, electronics installed that were never asked for and added to invoice, hot water cylinder not wired at all, transducer fitted with shims upside down, we had to arrange for simrad rep and supplier to come out to site to explain to Orakei where they’d gone wrong with install fuel tanks wired back to front, an anchor that drops straight into the hull and being told to kick it over, fuel tanks that surge out when filling to be told to fill tanks very slowly after finding online the remedy ourselves, leaking windows and numerous damages done to vessel when staff attempting to view/sort issues. We have waited a full year for works to be completed to a working standard to be finally told they will not do any works until the final 1% of the invoice is paid. They have now left us having to have all repairs to a brand new vessel completed at our own cost. We tried many times to have the Owner of the company get involved but has chosen not too which alone staggers us both, along with others who have purchased similar vessels with similar outcomes. Would not recommend dealing with this crowd at all, absolute worst company we have ever dealt with. We will now be taking legal advise.
