The rooms were spotless, and the service . Black Dog was an awesome host. I will definitely go back.nWe were fortunate to have the whole accommodation to ourselves as a group booking so it became more like home. So convenient to walk around the shops in the township & other sites of Port.

When we walked in everyone knew we were tourists, but they were all do welcoming. The barman helped us find a beer that we liked. Everyone was fantastic. We even brought a t-shirt.nIn Dog We Trust

Great old historical pub with nice 3 star rooms and v clean.nPort Chalmers is a magic place to stay.

Number 1 pub in Dunedin.

Mackies PlacenJust as wonderful the second time around. Sitting outside in the garden on the back deck. English bumble bees pollenating the flowers on a warm spring day. Crowded but great atmosphere just grand.
