Great hotel stay over New Year. Easy to find, car park is 27 dollars per day. In a good location near several tourist sites, museums and downtown. Easy access out to Otago Peninsula for all on offer there.nAll staff exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was buffet style and a great choice of items. We had dinner on 2 nights including NY Eve when staff were working flat out but everything ran smoothly and food was delicious. Our room was really great with exceptionally comfy bed and wonderful shower.nHighly recommend this hotel.
This premises in the original Post Office building is a great mix of contemporary meets history. I had a studio room 701, stunning with a wall of windows, just right for a couple or solo traveller. Everything was appointed well in the room, kitchenette, laundry and nice ensuite. We ate every evening and breakfasted in the restaurant, great food and excellent service. I used the gym, nice and peaceful, ok equipment, could be more.n
The staff were amazing - so very friendly and helpful at all times. Very nice room, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, and great shower. Nice food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We loved everything about this place.
So this is what a 5-star hotel is all about! Luxury and feeling pampered. Chocolate and cookies on the counter, washer/dryer in the bathroom, super-deluxe King bed with enough pillows you could sleep on a different one for a month!nDinner on our tour was included here. The service was impecable but l must admit, the food could have been a tad better. The breakfast buffet was huge and awesome - kind of made up for the dinner.nBeing just several blocks SouthWest of the Octagon made it a perfect location for walking anywhere you needed or wanted to go. I wish our tour company would have given us a full day to explore this city. There is so much to see and I would have put up with the pampering for one more night. Yes, I would have sacrificed myself for the others in the group.
We stayed and dined here for one night. Nice room, very good food, convenient location. We enjoyed drinks at the Post Bar and dinner and breakfast at Parcels Restaurant. All the highlights of this city are within easy reach so make the Distinction for your next trip to Dunedin and treat yourself to a stay here.
