We loved our stay at Ebb-Dunedin! The building is modern and visually striking, with its exterior adorned in stunning artwork. Inside, the airy atrium-style hallways create a welcoming and open atmosphere. Art lovers will especially appreciate the thoughtful design, abundance of artwork, and creative details throughout the hotel. Our room was warm and cozy, offering the perfect retreat. I especially loved the soaking tub and bath bomb—such a luxurious and relaxing touch!
Definitely a rare experience in New Zealand. We’re even served with gin during check in. The hotel is well designed, and every piece in the room is carefully selected. Love how they provide indoor slippers. Beddings are nice and comfy. Soundproofing of the room is amazing. Good service and clean. The only downside is the bathroom, although with the wee screen, the water still splashes everywhere during shower.nLocation wise can’t complain. Walking distance to everything a traveller needs. Do recommend pay for the parking spot at the hotel as it’s tricky to park in town.nAlso may track the room rate even after made the booking. It’s a bit irritating finding out the rates were $100 lower per night than what we booked for months ahead. It’s unexpected for Christmas period.
A lovely stylish boutique hotel that promotes itself as high-end, however this is the first hotel we have ever checked into where we had to find our own trolley to unload our luggage, wheel the trolley from the car park to the room & then had to return it to reception ourselves. We then found only two coat hangers were allocated per person. Other people have not mentioned this, is it just a blip in their service? Unfortunately, although it is an elegant, very comfortable hotel, we haven’t had a good experience so far!
One of the best hotels I have seen so far. Top notch design, everything in the room is carefully selected. So much space, comfy bed, nespresso machine with real nespresso capsules, comfy slippers, even ground coffee and filters were available in case one doesn’t like nespresso. Parking is highly recommend given the location. Everything is in walking distance. Recommendations:n- provide a complimentary bottle of watern- check the payment system I had to pay 2% extra while I paid with a debit card, not a credit card, but when booking directly online there is no option to avoid it
Beautiful designed boutique hotel with some room for improvement:n- Self Service in the Café of this rather pricey hotel does not fitn- the service staff at the café is rather grumpy and cold. Furthermore, wearing leggings does not fit the atmospheren- the cleaning service left their cleaning carts all day on the floors, which disturbs the thoughtfully designed atmospheren- reception only until 10pm, we did not see this highlighted on the Hyatt appn- Globalist status Hyatt loyalty program not recognized nor consideredn- amenities like cotton pads are assumed in this high price range, we felt it was a bit overpriced for the standard no fitness or further servicesnnPro’s: Design, bed quality, large rooms, quality of minibar, food quality
