5 stars all the way, a real hidden gem. The hotel and staff were next level fabulous my favourites Richard and Gaelle were so helpful and made the stay extra special. In fact all the staff seemed really happy. The hotel had a really nice vibe. I enjoyed also the feel of the lounge reception area where you could relax or work from and see the mountains in plain view. I don't often writes reviews but I will certainly be back. My family of four have had such a wonderful day. The rooms were perfect and spacious we stayed in a King Suite overlooking the mountains perfect set up for pleasure & work. Super close to the town centre. Thanks for making out hotel stay in Queenstown extra special. Thanks Christine
We spent the last night of our NZ holiday here and it was a wonderful experience. We rang before coming to see if we could check in early and the lady on the phone was lovely and explained one of our rooms was ready and that we could check in. We were met by a darling young woman who checked us in with great efficiency and ease. We had a yummy snack at the bar served by a wonderful young gent named James and then at dinner time my 3 year old son was asleep so I went downstairs to reception to order some room service. The nice gent explained they don’t do room service but when I told him my son was asleep up stairs and that I couldn’t join the rest of the family for dinner he arranged for room service and also knocked very gently on the door when delivering. We have had an absolutely exceptional stay, thank you so much!
The hotel seems to be new and well maintained. I loved the location; you can walk to pretty much everything Queenstown downtown has to offer. The rooms are well laid out and furnished. However, the views are iffy. This has to do with the available space and terrain, for the most part.nThe breakfast was well put together in the morning, and the staff was excellent from check-in and beyond.
James, Jess and the rest of the staff will look after you very well, anything they can help you with, they will.nnMain lobby area is like a big kitchen cum living room area to enjoy during your stay, for breakfast in morning ir relax in the evening.nnRooms really nice. The breakfast included is worth it, really nice food, lots of tea available and the coffee machine is very good. All part of the breakfast included.nnWe will be back here on our next visit.
Three of my friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Queenstown, and despite the cold weather, the warm hospitality of the hotel staff made our stay truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, every touchpoint was exceptional. The reception staff greeted us with genuine smiles and warm greetings, instantly making us feel welcome.nnA standout moment was when we requested to take out our breakfast meals early in the morning. We had planned to catch the sunrise at Glenorchy, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their helpfulness and willingness to accommodate our request was greatly appreciated.nnThe rooms were clean, tidy, and offered a magnificent view of the mountains. Waking up to such a beautiful sight every morning was a highlight of our trip. The overall service provided was truly above and beyond our expectations.nnWithout a doubt, we will be booking our stay at the Holiday Inn Express again the next time we visit Queenstown. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable stay!
