Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queenstown, an IHG Hotel

Had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Queenstown. I’ve stayed in many Holiday Inn Express properties over the years and this is definitely one of the better ones. The hotel is new and very well designed, with a bright, open lobby, reception and breakfast area. The hotel is located a stone's throw from Queenstown downtown area including the Skyline Gondola and indoor skydiving.nnThe rooms were comfortable and impressively quiet despite facing the street, and as someone who does a bit of remote work, the abundance of power sockets was a real bonus. The gym is on the smaller side, but in a place like Queenstown that’s hardly an issue. Would happily stay here again.nnPS Want to express our gratitude to Mira who helped us out when our car battery died. We had a long drive to Dunedin and without his swift assistance we may have missed our visit to Larnach Castle.

Staff - absolutely amazing. Very pleasant and accommodating. Shoutout to Rosie and Jasmin and housekeeping!nRoom/Bed - clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets that made the stay great.nToilet - clean and stocked with enough amenities. It would be great if slippers could be provided for added convenience.nBreakfast - simple yet delicious. The coffee was excellent, just as expected.nLocation - perfectly situated near shops and wharf, only 5-7minute walk. However, coming from the city can take a bit longer since it's uphill, but still very manageable.nnOverall, had a fabulous stay! I always enjoy staying at HIE and this location is no exception.

Excellent central location, a short walk to the pier and shops. Bus, tour, excursion pickup just at the corner.nStaff was so professional and courteous.nExpansive wide open ‘great room’ common area with fireplaces and nice Mountain Views.nFacility and rooms were very clean and up to date. Free breakfast available which was very good. Beds were comfortable with multiple pillow options. We had a one bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen and living area. Couch was a bit too firm for our comfort. Bedroom was comfortable; dressing area/ bathroom really spacious.nComplementary Afternoon iced teas were tasty and refreshing!nThey had a nice varied menu with generous portions and all of the dishes that we had were delicious.

My parents and I had such a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Express! From the moment I walked in, the entire team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. A special shout-out to Olivia at reception, she was absolutely AMAZING! Friendly, helpful, and so patient, she truly set the tone for a great stay.nnBut honestly, every single staff member I encountered was SOOOOOO lovely! You can really feel the positive energy and care they put into their work. It made my stay comfortable, easy, and so enjoyable.nnThank you to the whole team for going above and beyond. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone!

Huge mention to Jasmin at the front desk, she was an absolute delight and incredible customer service. She definitely deserves to be looked after and given a senior role. Olivia was also just as warm and comforting. Great location, less than 10nmin stroll to town.nn4 star not five, only because we requested house keeping in the morning while we were away all day but came at 5pm which seems a bit late.
