This motel was the cleanest we have stayed in. The attention to detail by the housekeeping staff is exemplary. The rooms are not serviced daily, however, staff are only to happy to assist with any queries you may have. The location is very good, although a little far from the main hub if you are walking. Parking in Queenstown can be hard to find. We would definitely recommend staying at the Blue Peaks Lodge, the accomodations are very spacious with everything you need. Rooms: Two bedroom, great shower, very quiet, all amenities.

NO AIR CONDITIONING AND LOUD We booked this motel originally for its location and fair price for queenstown. Now I feel we have been overcharged. The largest issue is that there isn't any air conditioning. As of writing this, Google, Bing, and Travelocity all have "air conditioning" listed under amenities. Their website does not, but I find this very misleading. They do have a heater for the winter, but during the summer it's too hot. There's no fan in the room, so the only solution is having the windows open. Which means the blinds are either up light pollution, street noise, and lack of privacy, or they're flapping in the wind. The rooms themselves are also loud. I can hear everything our neighbors are doing. The room itself is fine. The bed is a little hard and lopsided, but linens and otherwise are fine. There isn't any rubber gasket on the bottom of the glass shower door, so water gets everywhere when you take a shower. Service was wonderful. They just only have office hours 7:30-8pm Also, fun, they still have actual keys to lock the door rather than key cards. It does have a good location, easy to walk around the city center Overall, it's fine. Im sure its much more comfortable in the winter. We are staying in a camped van during our trip, and this is a single step above that. If you choose to stay here, bring your own fan, ear plugs, and eye mask. Or a sleeping pill. If you're a heavy sleeper, this may be the place for you.
Nice rooms with everything we needed. Unfortunately our room was on the road side which was sooooo noisy. We couldn't be moved as there were no other rooms available. A bus stop right outside our window so no privacy either. A great shame.Rooms: 4/5
This motel was really good and would come if in the area. Our apartment had a lake view. There was a bedroom, kitchen living room with an additional bed. It was spacious and modern. There were heaters in the apartment, which was useful given the cold nights. Each bed had a weighted blanket, which was a revelation! They were far too heavy for me but good to try. Someone else travelling with me loved it. The bathroom was nice but I wish the shower had more pressure. Soaps provided were nice. The WiFi was really good This motel is great value and definitely worth booking
Basic motel accomodation, but we didn’t feel like we were lacking anything. Everything was clean and in good condition. Very convenient location. Comfy bed and we had a great view from our room. The staff were lovely and I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future.Rooms: 5/5
Good lodge, but visitors needed to be prepared for: * not working TV; * staff not willing to fix non-working TV; * check-in "from 3PM" - could be 4pm or 5pm or when the room is ready; * staff not willing to negotiate check-in loss time for aything... Rooms: Rooms are basic, but equipped with all necessary. Very well equipped kitchen.
Wonderful location. Just out of town, with a nice big hill to walk up! Staff were lovely, room was super clean and bed was very comfortable. Only issue was the noise, could hear anything the neighbours were doing conversations, snoring and funky bedroom business… Other than that, was a nice place.Rooms: 4/5
A SUPER HANDY LOCATION TO TOWN. The room was spacious, clean, well equipped, and a comfortable bed. Plenty of off street parking. Will book here again. Rooms: Very spacious rooms. And they're clean! Well done to the housekeeping team. Walkability: Only a couple of minutes walk into town
