Millennium Hotel Queenstown

We travelled from Sydney Australia and stayed here for our five year wedding anniversary. We chose it on a whim as it was part of a travel package, but we would stay here again and again.nTo say the team were attentive and accommodating would be an understatement. Our room was well appointed, with a generous amount of towels and toiletries. We spent a lot of time exploring locally and were often in and out of the hotel throughout the day. Every time we left and came back the staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. I had told them we were staying there for our anniversary and on the day of our anniversary they presented us with a celebratory dessert plate which was thoughtful and delicious, but more touching was the personalised card with handwritten messages from the entire staff around the hotel - reception, house keeping, kitchen, engineering - even the GM! I understand the hotel has undergone some recent renovations which has led to the impressive presentation of the rooms, but more important are the people/person behind the individualised details such as those we encountered. I have been recommending this hotel ever since we came back to Australia, and will continue to do so into the future.

We had a pleasant stay at Millennium Hotel Queenstown.nnThe room size was very decent and comfortable, with a nice bed and supportive pillows that made for a good night’s rest. The toilet was clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated.nnLocation-wise, the hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance to the town centre, making it easy to explore the shops and restaurants. It’s also just a short walk to Lake Wakatipu, which is perfect for a relaxing stroll and enjoying the beautiful scenery.nnThe gym is available but a bit small, and some of the equipment could be better maintained. It would also be great if the hotel could consider offering a 24-hour gym for added convenience.nnOverall, a comfortable and well-located hotel that makes for a solid stay in Queenstown.

Overall decent stay.n-Service was amazing, very friendly.n-Our room was okay. Would've liked some snacking options within the fridgen-Great location, walking distance to the town.n-Food was okay, however it can be better for its price.n-Gym/Sauna was very disappointing. Outdated and not well maintained.

The inky reason this isn't 5 stars is because in all my travels all over the world I've never come across a hotel room without a microwave that had a mini fridge.nIf that doesn't bother you the location is walkable and safe to get to city centre, the shower was beautiful and had a nice rainfall shower head. The service from the front desk was terrific and welcoming. Our room had a nice view of one of the mountain peaks as well and depsite the room being street side it didnt feel too noisy at night.

Had a very enjoyable, relaxing 5 night stay at the Millennium Hotel Queenstown. Location is perfect, just a short walk from the centre. Room was cozy and modern, beds very comfortable and rooms well cleaned. Great food and coffee. The restaurant manager, Vik, was very accommodating and really positively impacted my stay. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here.
