Copthorne Hotel & Apartments Queenstown Lakeview

For the price the rooms need to be more modern in my opinion, the whole place needs a refit. The shower didn't work very well and the tv would cut out. The staff were lovely and it was handy having a car park in the building with lots of parks and was free of charge.

Amazing place to stay when visiting Queenstown. The bus stop is outside the hotel going both ways, to The Remarkables or Sunshine Bay. The staff were so lovely and always helpful when needed. The managers on duty were amazing. I wish I took their names, but they were very welcoming. The rooms are a little dated. But the space and amenities in the hotel make up for it. The rooms are very large. We had 3 adults and a 2 year old. Not many hotels still have bathtubs. So that was a 5 star rating from my very active child. We stayed on level 1 with a patio. Patio space was huge and the view was probably just as amazing from a room in an upper level. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a lovely 2-night family stay. Our room on the 4th floor Room 462 had a fantastic view and it was absolutely beautiful to wake up to. While the room was a bit dated, it was very clean, and spacious, which made it a relaxing stay for the whole family. Great location and a great stay overall. We would happily return!

Hi,nStayed here over a week ago for 8 nights. Clean and tidy, great facilities and food. Staff were helpful, but customer service could def be better. Not overly friendly or welcoming.nI specifically booked this place as in the pics there is a fireplace. When I questioned a manager he said there had never been one. Was pretty rude about it.nThe spa was nice, but dirty and people before us had left their rubbish. Maybe after every use, a quick check and tidy up.

The two bedroom, two story unit was comfortable, the beds were comfortable and reasonably clean. The first impression of the hotel was poor, set amongst beautiful buildings, this outdated hotel is covered in dirt and mould, which seems easily fixed with an exterior wash.nThe advertised restaurant doesn't appear to exist, instead there is a pokey bar with several tables and a pool table, it would be improved by reapholsterying the ripped fabric on the chairs and music for atmosphere. Clean the carpet in the reception arear too. I will look for somewhere more modern or better maintained for my next trip.
