We had an outstanding stay and were genuinely impressed with the accommodations, prime location, and exceptional staff. Our travel agent booked this property and before arrival we were concerned about not having a car, but that turned out to be a non issue. Everything is incredibly walkable. The beach, gardens, shopping, restaurants, and activities are all just minutes away.nnWe stayed five days and easily could have stayed longer. There is also a convenient bus stop right out front, which made getting picked up for tours stress free. The only small drawback is that the property sits at the top of a hill, so the walk back up at the end of the day can be a bit of a climb, but it was manageable and worth it for the views and location.nnThe room was spacious, spotless, and very well equipped. We loved having a full kitchen with supplies, an in room washer and dryer, and heated towel racks. The only improvement we would suggest is adding more clothing drawers. There were large closets for luggage and hanging clothes, but only two small drawers, so unpacking fully was difficult.nnFront desk staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. They securely stored our luggage before check in, which made arrival day much easier. The hotel overall was clean, comfortable, and easy to navigate. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Queenstown.
Stayed here 2 nights in January 2026. This is not the Ramada we find in the US. This hotel is super clean, with spacious rooms, crisp linens, fluffy towels draped over a functioning towel warmer, and pleasant staff. Also the room is well ventilated. For what I paid, I have absolutely no complaints and would stay there again in a heartbeat. It is about 15 min walk to a street with many restaurants, but there is a Mexican restaurant on-site.
Our Room had floor to ceiling windows that overlooked stairwell so no privacy and front of building with traffic noise early morning. Light from stairwell on all night so our room was also lit all night. The room was small due to cutout of space dedicated to building storage so matchbox size for Two people. Toilet seat 2 inches smaller than toilet. DISGUSTING !!! I talked to front desk but the male front desk person was rude and obnoxious. I wouldn’t call him a gentleman because he is not. The breakfast was minimal at best. Don’t stay here!
The room was exactly what I was expecting. Clean, good air conditioning, comfy bed, and the shower had good water pressure. The location is good, a quick walk down to the shops and a short bus ride to the airport.nnThe staff were extremely nice and helpful Auckland Ramada needs to send their staff here to be trained! They were horrible!nnThe Coco Cabana restaurant inside the hotel was also surprisingly good.
We stayed six nights, the front of the hotel is very hard to find as there is no dedicated drive-up to unload or exit a vehicle with luggage, most UBER drivers pick up and drop off at the side of the hotel where you drive in to the parking garage door. Check in was easy and quick. Parking is underneath the hotel and is very limited, street parking is available but is impossible to find anything open. Once you check in and if there is parking in the garage you can take the elevator directly to your floor. The room was small, clean and came with a kitchenette and it came with a washer and dryer which was necessary for us. The restaurant is attached to the hotel, we ate there once and had pizza and the beef stew, both were made with fresh ingredients and tasted good but I thought the prices were pretty high compared to the restaurants in town. Queenstown is very hilly and the hotel is located higher up than the city and waterfront, the 5-8 min walk down is no problem but walking back up could be a challenge for some. An UBER from the hotel to the city is about $14 NZD depending on where you get dropped off. The staff were polite and helpful when we needed help, my one complaint was the day of check out, at 10:15am the cleaning staff knocked at our door to ask when we were leaving, checkout is 11am so I found this a bit rude and an attempt to get us to leave so they could clean the room.
